Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet

Hi Regi, a direct flight LUX-BRU would make a lot of sense .. When we need to go to Brussels (which I often need to do), we either drive (if your meeting is at 09.00 in Brussels, this means we can leave here around 05.30 AM, so avoid all traffic jams) or the train, which takes more than 3 hours as w...

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet

Dear NCB, I can only confirm what Korongo explains about how corporate booking works: I work for an international financial institutions, and fly about every week, leaving from Lux to entire Europe and CIS countries. I do about some 30-50 round trips a year, so I may call myself a little bit of an &...

Re: Question: UA951 BRU-IAD on THU 04 NOV

@Bralo 20: seeing you have access to KVS, I am on the flight CPH-NRT of 13/11, SK 983. I have a C-class upgade option through optiontown.com, can you see how heavily the flight is booked out, especially in C?

Thanks

Business class availibility SK983 on 13/11/2010.

Dear all, does anyone know how I can check the still available business class seats (all booking classes in business) for SAS flight SK983 on 13/11/2010m CPH-NRT? I entered through Optiontown.com a request for an upgrade for EUR 300, but will only know if I have the upgrade some 24 hours prior to th...

Re: OO-TUC/OO-JAP

no, but then just make it a full charter plane, don't call it anything like "comfort class". I found their whole conmfort class thing the best commercial spin of the decade .. but I agree with you, you get what you pay for

Re: When will OO-TUC be back in Belgium ?

I flew TUC back yesterday from Cancun, I would not have been surprised it was its first long-haul. Indeed, dull colours outside, and the aisles have no carpet any longer. Good points is the seat pitch in Comfort Class, quite generous, and better than in Comfort Class of the other (grey) B767 we took...

M&M reward ticket question

Dear all, I am about to book a reward flight with Miles and More and Brussels Airlines, being Brussels-Sevilla in Business Class. Does anyone know if this is in that case really business class, or B-flex+? What is Brussels Airlines short-haul business class all about these days (lounge access and VI...

Dear all,

Re: Will EK (Emirates) come to BRU?

Anyone who is indifferent about the quality of EK in Y long-haul should try the likes of LH or IB in Y class long-haul, and then afterwards tell which he/she enjoyed most. I did EK FRA-DXB-SIN this year in Y, and had a better flight experience than C long-haul on TK this year. Catering, IFE, seat co...

Re: Will EK (Emirates) come to BRU?

Hi Regi, living in Luxembourg and flying EK regularly out of Dusseldorf and Frankfurt: he Dusseldorf flights easily have in Y 40-50% Dutchies and loads of Belgians. If you live Liege/Hasselt it is a 90 miutes drive, even from Antwerps it is not that far (definately not more difficult to reach than s...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

I don't know why you guys are all so fond of the Airbus 300-600 from Lufthansa. I flew them last year in C-class Frankfurt-Almaty (for a little EUR 5,550), and it was a hell of a flight: very uncomfortable seats, extremely hot in the cabin (I asked to one of the crew, seems it is an old type of airc...

Re: They say: Charleroi is the most depressing city in Europe

Married to a Spanish, I need to pick my in-laws up at CRL very frequently. Once they asked me to visit Charleroi, which I did. They were shocked, and so was I, being Belgian myself. When we went to Maastricht once they wanted to see Liege, same thing, and at night even more frightening in the city c...

Re: is Privilege still alive ?!?

Same thing here. I have the Amex Gold, which gives me 1.5 mile for each EUR spent. Since many months, none of my miles have been credited. Sometimes, there is a credit which I cannot reconcile with my Amex statements. Even the Amex customer service staff (take an example to them, SN people), told me...
