Blue Air, Romanian LCC, has allready direct flights from Bucharest Baneasa International Airport(BBU) to MAD, BCN an from this spring to VLC. Whit Air Madrid entering on this market maybe will have some better deals beacause now a round-trip is at least 210 euro(taxes and fees included), to much for...

[...]I read that TAROM want to fly back to N/America and Beijing. But i don't think they will go back just yet. They want to do it with 2 A310's. That means they have to take a stop somewhere in Europe as the A310 cant make the distance......maybe if they leased aircraft, but still, there will be t...

Some travelers have some high standards. Those one's expect to get out the house and take directly the plane. For this ones(max. 10% of all passengers) Brussels will remain the sole option. For the other 90% the newest Ryanair's CRL flight wil matter a lot. I say that with this move Ryanair is takin...

Indeed!!! CRL is not BRU, CIA is not FCO but 40 euro are not 400. For a 360 euro difference u save 1 hour of u're time and get a meal on the plane. Some think that it's worthing. In 2001 everybody predicted that nobody will use Brussels Charleroi. After 4 years Ryanair has 16 routes from here, Wizza...

My theory is that ZAG, OTP and SOF will open, with a possiblity of DBV, SPU, BNX, BUD and Timisoara.[...] Not sure about those possibiities. There wouldn't be so much people flying from DBV, SPU, BNX or TSR to JFK(via BEG). 15-20 people in a 70 seat ATR-72 is not so good. Also, from TSR, Alitalia h...

But why dump all of the 737s, if they are still in perfectly good condition? Isn't that a waiste of money? The 737-200's are very old in Ryanair's fleet. First 737-200 came in 1994 as a replacement for the firts Ryanair jets, BAC1-11 that arrived on a full wet lease with Tarom, Romanian state airli...

I think Blue Air it's going to fly for a while(1-2 years) only to Western Europe destinations and to the only profitable destination in Estern Europe, Istanbul. Maybe in 2006 they will start new routes to Germany(after Aachen and Frankfurth - Hahn) and Benelux countries after the expansion to Spain,...

But Carpartair fly from Timisoara. Blue Air fly from (mostly) Bucharest Carpatair hub is in TSR but the have connections to international flights from all over the country: BBU, CLJ, IAS, CND, BCM, OMR, TGM, SBZ and KIV from Moldavia. This is their advantage. In fact they are interested in business...

It's hard for me to belive that such an airline will be born in Croatia that is only a candidate to EU. I doubt that from Croatia will be some much travelers in order to fill 1 weekly flight to each of those destinations. In I don't see a german, an italian or a french flying to Zagreb in order to t...

BA, LH and IB are flying to TRN from some big hubs, so there shouldn't be any problem in getting there wherever u're home is. But in my oppinion MXP ore even better LIN(very close from the city center - Milan Central Train Station) are more suitable solutions. There are direct flights from all the m...
