Singapore Airlines to increase number of cargo flights at Brussels

Singapore Airlines (SIA) wants to increase the number of weekly cargo flights to Brussels from 15 to 22, at the expense of Amsterdam where landing slots are more difficult to obtain. In a later stage the frequency could even be increased to 25 weekly flights.

I think there is a misunderstanding! Not De TIJD, but SN Brussels Airlines expects 5 million euro profit. De TIJD only wrote the article. The optimism is based on the reservations for the next months. At the end of January, SNBA received more than 130 000 bookings for February. That's 23 percent mo...

Spotting at Lanzarote

I am flying to Lanzarote on 26 May with Thomas Cook for the wedding of my daughter on the 29th. The airport (Arrecife - ACE) does not seem to have a website. I carefully selected the hotel in the Thomas Cook brochure: the Beatriz Playa (four stars) is at 3 km from the airport building, but only at 1...

Malmö Aviation will withdraw 2 of its 3 BAe146s

I just read in www.ch-aviation.ch that: Malmö Aviation (TF/Malmö Sturup) will withdraw two of its three BAe 146-200 during this summer and will only continue to operate ARJ-100s on their own flights and a single BAe 146-200 for several more months on behalf of Skyways Express (JZ/Stockholm Arlanda)....
