They have begun operating nonstop to IST with a 747-400 once or twice a week, besides the 777-300 service via Dubai.

More Asian carriers to Spain

Following Singapore Airlines return to the country, Korean Air are also planning to resume Madrid in June after ten year absence, and China Airlines Cargo are going to start Barcelona later this year.

New cities being added in the region this year, Amman and Johannesburg expected to start in November with 777-200ER.

Amman will also get charter flights in July, once a week.

Korean Air Middle East/Africa update

777-200ER will be used on the 3 x weekly ICN-DXB-CAI service from July onwards replacing the A330-300 flying at present.

Korean Air Cargo launched 1 x weekly 747-400F service to Israel in December with routing ICN-VIE-TLV-ICN, it is their only full cargo destination in the region.

They will start scehduled flights nonstop from Riga to Dubai from Dec 26th to March 24th with 737, reports justplanes.com.
