Re: New Boeings for Jetairfly-fleet 2009
If you compare on how much OO-TUC is at work and how much it gets a technical problem i'd say the A/C ain't so bad. If there's a problem the delays are usualy kinda big though but people should understand its for the safety and comfort of the pax and crew

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa
didn't LH ground some A340's ?
and with the A380 and 748i joining the fleet in the future i might see LH station the A340's permanent with other airlines from the group so why not SN

Re: FHY578 Brussels - Antalya
very nice report
i'm suprised they let you inside the cockpit though, when i do a fhy rotation the cabin crew always asks for my badge first and why i need the pilots before they let me inside
maybe i'ts because they don't think a young guy can make loadsheets

Re: Jetairfly new destinations: Mombasa+Zanzibar
luchtvaartnieuws.nl has an article about a second 763ER after the summer for JAF to perform TC flights
are we now talking about the JAP and TUC or the JAP and a new one since JAP should arrive in the summer?

Re: Air France flight AFR447 Airbus A332 missing
media is talking about a tropical thunderstorm and the A/C should be hit by lightning. I'm not going to speculate about the true or false media reports but i do have a couple questions. 1: is lightning realy that dangerous during flight ? in theory electricity would travel a couple cm to a couple m ...

some press reports (like the hln article) is talking about a 757-200ER.
I didn't know there was an official ER version of the 200 or is it because it will be equiped with winglets ?

Re: Avro replacement
why would JAF/TUI help SN to get new planes ?
i like like how the A321 looks, much better then the B757 but yea it can't compete based on looks with a nice B738 or B739. Those boeing winglets do a lot imo
