Re: Belgian Air Force F16 burned out at EBFS Florennes
According some french speaking media, one of the F-16 parked "open fire" on the destroyed one. Is this possible ? Could it be possible that during rearming a mistake was made ? In french : https://www.rtl.be/info/regions/namur/un-f-16-explose-a-la-base-aerienne-de-florennes-et-cause-de-ser...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Divide and rule. First chapter in the management playbook. The second chapter is the blame game. The third one is to focus on salary only, while its much more than that. And so on. This scheme is seen in every airline. Its like a game. You have training sessions for managers, and the same for unions...

Re: Air Belgium: a rebirth?
I don't know if you're in that kind of business, but it's not just about a couple hundred meters of runway... Especially if you need a longer runway to land (not only a displaced threshold for t/o). This is probably where you are wrong. Yes its only a couple of hundred meters. And a turning pad. No...

Thank you Johny123. This is new for me. I was thinking the center boom was standard.
And now i'm sure i saw a MK2 in Birmingham last week end.
The aircraft was parked like a commercial aircraft next to Bruair.

Re: Air Belgium: a rebirth?
"Short term" and "extend the runway" is definitely not compatible... Its not compatible if Charleroi stick to the initial plan, wich was a complete runway reconstruction (like 25L 2 years ago) + extension + new lights + new drainage. And most probably working only at night in or...

This thread start to be old. So today there must be people coming out of formation ? Heard new voices on delivery ? And possibly voice that i recognize but in other sector than usual ? Are people going up the scale ? What is the normal pattern after you graduate ? In what position do you go ? Delive...

Killing the potential CS500.
One competitor less for the A320NEO.
A bit sad but logic.
Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Re: Endless problems with electronic passport control at Pier B of Brussels Airport
Fully agree with Romax and Kriva. BIAC, the airlines and the pax are suffering from this. BIAC and the airlines are putting a lot of pressure on FEDPOL to solve the issue, unfortunately with no effect. Fedpol has 15000 police officer's around the country. You find them everywhere you go. The airport...

Re: Airbus taking over C Series from Bombardier
I'm not objective, i love that plane.
But its a super move from Airbus. A superb aircraft for nothing.
And with the plant in Mobile, it may well turn around Trump taxes.
And it has effect down to SONACA.
