Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
Mr 134flyer! Did Senegal AL order 20 A320 or 737? No! Will they fly to Europe with A320? Apparently not, at least not to CDG/ORY, BRU and/or MXP! Is SN deploying their network/hurrying things up? Apparently yes, as they are looking for a 5th A330 to strengthen/expanding their AFI network. Confess wh...

Info request on Duxford museum UK
Hi, Was wondering if someone could give me some advice/tips for a trip to Duxford Air Museum. Always wanted to see the Blackbird in real and as I have to wait too long for a trip to the USA I was thinking of a day trip from London Stansted. (okay, must confess with FR :? ) Has anybody did this before...

Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
Okay, then we must confess NCB was right on this one!
SN must deploy their network in AFI before they start!
Maybe this thing can hurry up some things for SN!
CX-B
But hell, as even LH is going more lowcost direction , no positive news
can be expected!

Re: Just fly for the sake of it
Hi,
Gonna do this for my first time next december to Pisa (FR), and while looking for info
I found this old topic in the history listings of luchtzak and was wandering
if some of you could propose other possible trips of this/next year/months or some
other 'up-to-date' reports!
Looks fun!

LX-LGX you made my day!!     Thanks,.. And be sure this topic gonna be in the charts of luchtzak for many years to come... It is surprising that NCB hasn't included the following in his plan: small refineries built & operated by SN themselves at these places! Well, mayb...

Re: African operations possible with narrow body equipment
Hi, Well it seems to me you forget about the slots the old airline had and maybe are still owned by the Senegal government. It's not because you don't have planes of your own you can't have the slots. Well, off-course but then this should already be known! Can anybody confirm that Senegal has slots ...

Re: African operations possible with narrow body equipment
NCB, As answer : The new start-up is not Air Senegal but Senegal Airlines. Different owners with totally different plans and full government support. No RAM involvement at all, maybe some oil tycoon looking at investing his value-losing dollars into something profitable. new start-up = investing in ...

Re: African operations possible with narrow body equipment
NCB, Do you really, but I mean really !,do not understand that: A. Altough it (could ? ) can be possible to do some AFI traffic with an A319, the limits are so SO special ( cargo, catering ( come'on special planes just for catering    ),..) that operating A319's into AFI isn't the best...

Hi, The Usability is not so much appreciated by the users, apparently. Hé ? What are you guys talk about , SN booking site is as good/bad as nearly any other! Re: 5th A330 for Brussels Airlines
A319 again :( NCB, Maybe better discuss B747-400 as you're the only one who see a A319 operating to AFI or west-coast :?: . The thing is that if you read toliplanebas and others they have better arguments! So instead discussing A319 come up with better options. The A319 isn't the only plane that exi...

Re: 5th A330 for Brussels Airlines
Hi, I travelled to JNB in an 747-400 (LH) and a 343 (IB). I travelled from LXR via HRG in a A320 (Constellation). A320 sucks at long/medium-haul, in any way! :? Isn't it cargo, comfort is 0. If you have comfort = ticket prices aren't competable ! Look at the A319 prices to JFK! (I can't afford it) I ...

Hi, On the longer term, if the company would be a real success, SN could send some of the current A330's to AirDC to perform high demand intra-African routes. Sending some A330's to Africa ???
