I know, I know André. It was just an expression. I know that we have to wait for years before we can see a Belgian B787. But still its nice. On Luchtvaartnieuws I found two pictures of a Jetairfly B787. Enjoy it. http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/news/?ID=20216 Maybe yes and maybe no. With the B787 be...

I can't defend US in any way. There are some very serious labor issues going on right now that can tear this company apart. It isn't just the pilots, but the flight attendants and the ground staff that have their contracts due. I'm not very hopeful to be honest. Hmmm, labor issues and aircraft repl...

US Airways is becoming about as credible as Aeroflot. Aeroflot has the excuse of government intervention in its aircraft purchases. What "valid" excuse does US Airways have? Seems they are still trying to figure out what sort of company they would like to be, this week :(:(

Frankly it's not uncommon for companies to give away their new products at huge discounts or even for free, just to gain market penetration, especially if that market would otherwise not be that eager to buy that product. . Sure. Thats a practice which is more common with things such as TVs, Radios...

I don't get the 2/3rd the size of the city comparison, but i would feel 12.5 million passengers per year for Doha is doable. I don't really know which numbers to trust but Wikipedia says DOH handled 9.4 million passengers in 2005. I'm pretty sure they were already opeating above capacity, had an ab...

Ok, Delta is out!

Delt airlines has left bankruptcy. They are going through the typical rebranding and cleaning up ther image. Anyone wanna place bets on how long it will take them to announce a large order for new planes? Perhaps new B787's to replace thier large fleet of B767's. http://news.airwise.com/story/view/1...

On 30 May 2006, Qatar ordered 6, B777-200LRs and 14, B777-300ERs, and on 13 December 2006, they ordered 2, B777 Freighters. Deliveries will start in November of this year. I thought they orde...

They are cutting cost where ever possible to get more revenue so they can go ahead and place the largest single order for B787's in history, 100+. I wouldnt be suprised if they did something like that ;)
