Re: Air Belgium in 2018
Second comment : their prices are just normal, 25 euro per flying hour is very normal. So why fly CRL then... 440 euro for MUC(or DUS)-LAS is a nice price BRU-LHR-HKG for 479 euro is not even hard to find Indeed, one must be honest: basic ticket price is quiet high imo, given they profile themselve...

737-8 according to the website https://www.tuifly.be/fr/notre-flotte , named Infinity 737-800, probably an hand me down from one of the other TUI Branches. If no plane leaves the fleet it means that TUI is quite expanding this year. 2x 737-800 4x 737-8MAX 1x 787-8 +3 A320 leased ! + another 2 A320 ...

Nice video.
Does this mean TUI / Tec4Jets does also the maintenance for Air Belgium?
Or only stickering and initial cabin conversion?

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
TUI fly Belgium would lease on top of the 3 A320 (mentioned on this website earlier) also 2 A320, 1 B737 and an unspecified aircraft this summerseason?
Source
If the info is correct would be 35 aircraft this summer + any extra 737MAX8 or B787 arriving maybe?

C'mon...seriously...I'm very sorry to see some are offended. I have the feeling my post is purposefully misinterpreted. I never said or even implied SABENA is a racist name...?? Looking at the pics on the frontpage, is that size of toilet normal? Doesn't seem very comfortable to me, it's soo tiny... Let alone that you can join the mile high club in that space  According to articles and reviews it seems one of the most heard complaints of passengers and crew on the...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Finally, my bet on belgianwings !!! Wouldn't that go against the vision of 'integration into EW'? Germanwings as a name also dissapeared in favor of Eurowings. Germanwings actually still exists and wet-lease aircraft for EW, but as "Eurowings operated by Germanwings" I'm afraid the Belgia...

I am pretty sure that brussels airlines will be rebranded, don’t you?! In due time...I think so yes, but not yet. Why else replace management? To change nothing? Probably a soft and phased approach...first no change...then first planes with soft EW or hybrid livery and stickers 'operated by Brussel...

Davignon says in an Article on vrt he is not worried about tomorrow “I have reasons to be unhappy, but not to be worried” Suppose we’ll see tomorrow... Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
LH is not stupid, if SN would be really profitable they wouldn’t change the strategy. Sad but unfortunately true. Most years of their existence they did lose (a lot of) money despite the financial aid of LH... Whenever there was a profit it was rather marginal in comparison to the losses. source In...

I’m quite surprised that so many people seem shocked now… I actually was last year…when the take-over took place and the plans were laid out…They just did what they already announced: “ SN will be integrated in low-cost EW ”. No news there. Some people speak of SN as a “ national carrier ” dissapear...

I hope that TUI fly will ininvest in some E190E2 . This would allow them to fly to Tel Aviv From Antwerp. Huge potential on that route, I would think. However TUI fly stopped flying to Israel from BRU & LGG...I don't know the reasons. But can an E2 be completely filled with pax and luggage take...

According to this article (Dutch) the new 737 MAX of TUI fly will have no inflight screens anymore as opposed to their current fleet. As an aviation enthusiast I really liked to fly them because they have inflight screens on (almost) all their flights, not so for movies, but most of all for...

British Airways getting rid of reclining seats
BA passengers will no longer be able to lean back on short haul flights as the airline axes reclining seats for journeys under 4 hours BA will fit non-reclining seats on new fleet of 35 Airbus A320neos and A321neos Move proved controversial amid criticism of increasingly budget-style service.
