Luchtzak: Are those HUGE things attached to the cockpit door, or is this another, new door? I mean, if that is the only cockpit door, how do they want to continue jumpseat rides for e.g. trainees?

I saw it as well. I didn't know it would depart from BRU to NCE so I was really surprised to see it at BRU. Very 'nice' indeed ;-)

Anyway, this is one of those days when you wish you were a plumber or a bathroom specialist ;-)

die2flyagain: Nice to see you got yourself a model. If I would have been able to get one of those for € 500, I would have bought one myself, but they were just a bit too expensive for me, that's all. I had set a limit and how frustrating this might have been, I didn't start bidding for the models :...

Hi, - The A330 and A340 models were sold for between EUR 900 and something like EUR 1400. - I don't know who the famous Belgian is (if it's true in the first place), but I did notice the presence of the following people: Freddy Van Gaever (if he still has some spare money that is) and...Paul Jambers...

Hi everybody, I'm back from the auction. Here's my report: - This morning somebody of Servarts (one of the auction houses) called me to see whether I had the info I requested (yeah I sent them an email). I asked the lady when I should come and she told me that they would start subscribing people aro...

I'm pretty sure they have already given the LY codeshare option a thought but decided to fly to Tel Aviv themselves.

sn26567:

Nop, they haven't. I don't know if you bought the catalogue, but they are clearly mentioned in the 'Magritte' auction catalogue. They still have app. 40 A330's, app. 40 A340's and a bunch of other smaller models (Airbuses mostly).

Maybe they'll start using the 747 instead of the SLR 767?

Sabena auction on May 5th

Hi, I was wondering if any of you will be attending the first Sabena auction, on May 5th beginning at 16h00? I'm planning on going to the auction. I think I'll be there way in advance, to make sure I get a seat. If I'm too early, I'll just go and see some planes ;-) Anyway, I think it's gonna be a q...

Yeah, this would be great indeed. I read the same article. The only problem I have, is seeing the word 'expects'...In other words, they still haven't made up their minds and it's still possible that they change their minds. But let's hope they don't, and we see a new pax 747 over here in BRU huh? I'...

I've worked for good old SN as a aircraft loader and offloader back in 1998. 30 days working on the ramp, a dream come true ;-)

In 2001 I worked as a lugage sorter in the basement. Not working on the ramp but still ramp access ;-)

Woooow, this aircraft charter thing really seems like an amazing idea. If I can get some days off, I'd love to participate. That'd be awesome!

Oh yeah, count me in baby  However, it's possible that I won't have enough memory left to story a lot of pics, but we'll see then. I certainly hope to be more awake that day then I was a couple of weeks ago, boy oh...
