Re: Air Belgium in 2018

It is unfair, because you target the most expensive AB combination. I'm not saying that Air Belgium will be the most expensive for all flights between Belgium and Hong Kong. I was just making a comparison for a given flight on a given date, which is, in my humble opinion, never unfair from a travel...

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

Your comparison taking the inaugural flight is unfair. I think it depends how you look at the flight. We all know it's their inaugural flight, so OK. From a normal passenger's point of view however, it's not really unfair if I really need to take the flight on these specific dates. Best regards, Ivan

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

Now that Air Belgium has opened its ticket sales to HKG, I tried to do a random check of ticket fares for flights from Belgium to Hong Kong (or Shenzhen) with AB, HU and CX when leaving on 30APR18 (Air Belgium's inaugural flight) and returning on 03MAY18. Air Belgium ex CRL is the inaugural flight. ...

Apparently for maintenance (scheduled or unscheduled). That's the reason they need Air Belgium to operate today's flight ex AMS.

Do we have any info on when Air Belgium's A340 will leave BRU for the positioning to AMS? Should be around lunchtime at the latest I presume?

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018

Anyone who knows the meaning of "LOE"? Seems to be out of place for TUIB to give such a strange registration? I have an idea what it means. It are the initials of one of the postholders at TUI Fly Belgium. This give us OO-xyE with 'x' his first name, 'y' his last name and 'E' for 'Enginee...

Re: Flight routes into Brussels airport

Indeed, aircraft leaving from and arriving at BRU are using RWYs 01, 07L and 07R again, as was the case few weeks ago. As a matter of fact, I was on flight FI554 KEF-BRU yesterday, and it was the very first time I landed on RWY 07L. Quite a nice experience, and a lovely view of Brussels as I was sea...

In the tables issued by tangolima, all times refer to Brussels Airport. The first figure is for ETA and the second one for ETD.
I'm confident Tangolima wil confirm this.

I want to meet Susy the pilot and Miss Belgium 2018 :D Not sure if a lot of people know who Susy the pilot is, to begin with. She's from Sweden and great ambassador for the Brussels Airlines pilot community on social media. On top of that she's honestly enough to talk about the good and bad things ...

Foreseen for Cargo Apron for now, so high likelihood for 25R.

As always, info subject to change.
That one has indeed just left HECA and appears to be on its way to EBBR.
