Vols Charters, Un risque 17 fois plus élevé As you will notice, I was wrong: it was on the lasts 10 years, not the lasts 20! More important, the original source is given: it is a french parlementary report. I read the same in an Austrian newspaper, so I could only give the german text. Since it is ...

They don't lease Ilyushins for the simple reason that most of those planes are not allowed to fly to our airports due to noise restrictions ! Chris Let fly the Ilyushins for a month in Brussels, the people claiming about the noise will know wat is a very serious noise. After this it will be easier ...

I am surprised, with the actual search for cheap flights. that nobody came with the idea of starting a western-europe based LCC, operating with cheap leased russian Ilyushins and russian pilots... that would certainly result in very cheap prices... Cheap price, but they must find passengers and.......

If you're talking about cheap=unsafe, then how come low cost carriers have exceptional safety records? I am not someone who would rush to fly with Ryanair or easyJet or their kind, but you cannot ignore the fact that they have unblemished records as far as aircraft loss goes. They have not been inv...

The price tag is just one of the most visible aspects of the flight. Safety is not. Until bad things happen. Our skies will not be safe as long as people select an airline based on the cheapest fare instead of safety. Euhm, not all people have the money to choose the more expensive airline. These p...

Re: IB longhaul to South America
Hi, I'll fly to Brasil in November with Iberia from Brussels via Madrid. Any good / bad experiences with this airline on longhaul flights? Have flown with IB on European routes only. Many thanks! I flow IB to GRU and it was a nightmare. No service from the crew, even, i wanted a glass water. NO SIR...

This is really a very sad tragedy! From what I heard on Greek television, there were many young children on board the aircraft and the plane that crashed had problems in the past! Many travellers that are suppose to fly today and tomorrow on Helios refuse to fly!! The airplane that crashed was a B7...
