Re: Wathelet dispersion plan for Brussels Airport

You have to be honest here you can not compare Londen City to Brussels Airport come live in Jette when a 747 is just taking off your house, we will not accept that. And yes it's a choice like Strasbourg did they did not accept there airport to be bigger they prefer a good quality of life. Here in B...

Re: Wathelet dispersion plan for Brussels Airport

They never take of over Lomdon they Land that's another storie.... My friend, take it from somebody who has aleady flown into LHR hundreds of times as a pilot: they take off from RWY09, just as easily as they land on RWY27, over the city. LHR isn't as foolish to use its 2 main runways only in 1 dir...

I am not talking about London-City, but London-Heathrow, one of the bussiest airports in the world! Have a look for yourself what is r...

Re: Wathelet dispersion plan for Brussels Airport

1 You can not fly over a city that's not expectable. You can't? And just how do you think planes land and take-off at a little airport called London Heathrow then? Any idea what a certain Lizzy of Winsor, aka Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sees whenever she looks up when walking in the gar...

Re: Wathelet dispersion plan for Brussels Airport

1 You can not fly over a city that's not expectable and here in Brussels you need to turn right or left to do so. 2 Brussels airport is to close to a big city to keep night flights bring them over to more easy airports like Liege or Cologne... 3 don't forget that 80% of the people working a Brussels...

Re: Egyptair

I flew a couple o times with them if you have a737 800 it's good but with a A320 it's very bad .
The windows are full of humidity you can barely see something ( same thing than in the A330 of SN)and those planes are dirty.

It's unfair to go to court.
They have a good business model that's all and it works.

With SN the cheapest was 380€ per person 11 month's in advance?!?!?

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective

We can complain as much as we want, but be realistic. Look at SN. Which strategic, operational and financial partner could be found to invest hundreds of millions in the expansion/investment some here propose? I could think of some, but none of them are long term and reliable partners which could g...

Re: Emirates to Brussels?

There is no tourism as such in Dubai. No tourism in Dubai? I flew with LH to Dubai and back in February, the load factors were 100% in F, C and Y in both directions. The purpose of my triop was to board a Costa cruise ship (3700 pax). There were two other cruise ships (MSC, Aida) with the same capa...

Seems the expanding UAE carrier is going all over Europe, and I was wondering if Emirates would come to Brussels. Its opened new routes all over Europe and the world,to places where you would think its not going to be profitable. Seems good also 9W is routing Mumbai - Brussels -New York as well. Also...
