Re: Maastricht Airlines 2013

They will perhaps be in the red for some time, what about it ? I know an airline not far from here, also heavily subsidised, ... Let me guess : Ryanair ? ! Because that is the most subsidised airline in the world if one adds all direct and indirect support they get from regions and regional airports.

aircraft are PH-KVA (ex YL-BAO) and PH-KVB (ex YL-BAV). They are both stored since September 2012, so it’s very strange that Maastricht Airlines only now has found out that there is corrosion on one aircraft http://www.airfleets.net/flottecie/Air%20Baltic-stored-f50.htm (PH-KVA and PH-KVB were also ...

There is some news about CS-TMT: at the end of the year, the leasing contract ends. There was a discussion in the Defence commission from the Belgian parliament today. The discussion was asked by a MP of the Flemish language group, so the minister replied in Dutch only. For those who don't understan...

Some say it’s becoming a soap. My guess: it’s becoming a scam. Victims: the city of Maastricht and its taxpayers. http://www.maastricht-airlines.com/en/uitstel-vluchten/ This due to the late delivery of the Fokker 50 aircraft. In March of this year there was already a problem with the delivery of th...

If you you don't want to read it, there is no obligation, first of all. And the aim of a forum is giving opinion, there is no point to be agressive like this even if you don't agree on what other are saying! If freedom of speech exists for those who want to bash Brussels Airlines, then freedom of s...

It's one of the three topics in VTM Telefacts tonight (VTM = Flemish commercial tv)

http://vtm.be/telefacts/diamantroof-op-zaventem

there's a mention "Monday 17h20" on that site, but that was the time that the article was put online. Telefacts is scheduled for 21h30-22h10.

A Ryanair aircraft bound to Charleroi with 100 passengers and 6 crew on board was losing fuel while taxiing before take-off from Pisa. It has been stopped by Airport Security. It eventually took off at 14:35 with a 2 hrs delay. The press is picking it up: http://www.hln.be/hln/nl/1901/reisnieuws/ar...

English language media are reporting 350.000.000 EUR worth of diamonds but I don't know where they got their information from. Belgian media seem to be on par with each other and are indeed reporting a value of 50.000.000 USD and I guess this should be right since it were rough, uncut diamonds whic...
