Re: Jetairfly boeing 767 delayed today

I had that with my first car I ever bought. I didn't like it and bought a new one. I didn't go and tell HLN.be or VTM however.

BTW TUC gas been flying the last 4 months every day without any technical problem whatsoever, so I wouldn't call it week after week.

Re: Jetairfly boeing 767 delayed today

Frankly, I don't think you have the right for a refund. Force Majeure can be applied when a technical problem is the reason if the airline can prove they did everything in their power to prevent it from happening and if they kept the delay to a minimum, in other words, given the circumstances kept i...

Re: Jetairfly boeing 767 delayed today

Why not? Both are caused by technical problem.

Different vehicle, same reason.

Re: Jetairfly boeing 767 delayed today

What are you going to do if your car breaks down the next time? Inform VTM and HLN because you PAID for it and it is not supposed to break down?? What do you suggest? For JAF to put them on a pink cloud and let the wind blow them to their destination ?

Re: Jetairfly boeing 767 delayed today

Hello, Do you guys actually know that percentually the 737-fleet has a lot more down-time then OO-TUC ? It is just more noticable on the long haul as for the moment untill OO-JAP arrives.BTW, it is not shure yet TUC will be going, no decision has been made yet. With the 737's there is more room for ...

I hate to burst your bubble air key west but EVERY airline in the world cheats his passengers. The only thing they want to do is get as much money out of your pocket as possible. And that doesn't go just for LCC but als for the normal carriers. No airline flies pax just to break even.

Responsibility is limited or EXCLUDED!! What does that word mean ??? As I am ryanair crew for 4 years already you're just telling me something new that I have to advise pax to contact dublin by letter ?? That's not true. I have to tell them to contact the ryanair customer service desk in the airport...

LX-LGX, Don't you think Ryanairs lawyers have looked at these law very closely before they set their policy. you really think the are willingly breaking the law? Complying is cheaper then breaking it. And article 14 says clearly meteorological conditions. They offered assistance by the way .... a re...

This is not a question of putting the planes to good use or not. There would have been other solutions for the aircraft shortage. This is about having to cancel more then 100 flights, about having 35000 pax stranded who chose ryanair to fly. They don't blame it on the security people in CRL, the air...

The planes were used in other bases to perform maintenance on the planes based there. They went to GRO, HHN and STN. And do you think it's so easy to just juggle planes around ? It's not like: "Oh the loonetics in CRL have decided to stop the strike, Let's fly all the planes that we pulled out ...

not really, in CRL a typical crew would get between 6 and 8 hours block time, this is times 2. So typical 738 in FR has between 12 and 16 hours block time a day. They work hard ;-)

Ryanair used to fly 12 sectors a day with their 732's out of DUB. With the 738 they sometimes fly 10 sectors day. Don't know if any other airlines do more then that.

I didn't say anything about dropping service, Yannick A small AVRO jet can probably be cleaned in 10 min. INCLUDING security checks. In the mean time catering can be loaded. So they can be ready for boarding in 15 min. maybe 20 ? Still time to board and give a free chocolate and a newspaper. Fr crew...

OK I don't really get the fuss here. Big deal going from 40 min to 30 min turn around time. I'm well in my third year with ryanair now we do 25 min turn arounds a long time already. This includes de-planing, quick clean and security checks and boarding. and usually with a fully booked load of 189 pa...

It was probably a situation where it is a just being able to land or just not. It's not because the Venice landed that the next one had the same visibility. FR is not going to divert a 3 planes to Liege for the fun og it. It costs them a lot of money.
