Re: Qatar Airways to take over 49% of TNT Airways?
Lets hope it not going to happen!!!! They tried the same with cargolux and that was also a big mess. Eveything and everyone needs to bend for those Qatari.

Re: Brussels Airlines : pilots strike looming
I really hope that the strike is solving something and i really symphatize with the pilots. In my company there is no union (the company is too small) at all and there is also a serious lack of respect. But i found the solution. I decided to quit flying and doing another job. Another monkey can take...

Re: Load factor Antwerp-Manchester
As long they stay focused on these vip or bizz flights, the future of ebaw is very bleak. There is potential for scheduled flights, but it needs a commitment between the private investor(s) and the flemish authorities. I agree, ebaw will never be a second ebci. That also means that there will be les...

Re: Antwerp Airport: longer runway?
I agree that ebaw is not longer a good spot for training flights. If you want to attract more prof. operators, training flights can be a serieous hindrance for them. It is all now about using all the space in the most efficient way and having a good vision on the long term.

Re: Antwerp Airport: longer runway?
It is a fact that space is becoming a limiting factor in ebaw. You can attract other operators, (scheduled and charter) but then you need to take unpopular measures like flying schools etc have to move away. Also the parking lot during the week is already crowded. So options are small in ebaw.

Re: Bezetting Antwerpen- Manchester
Vraag ik me ook af. Ik hoop beter dan cityjet. Was vorige week in deurne. Kwam daar een vlucht binnen van london. Welgeteld 5 passagiers!!!! Zoiets kost toch massa's geld. Verbaast me dat cityjet daar blijft. Laten we hopen dat bmi het beter doet. I also wonder. I hope better than CityJet. Was last ...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial prospective?
Hi I work ( read fly) in lux and pay my taxes overthere because my base is also lux. I don't understand how B air can move their HQ to lux and then operating out of brussels with people having a lux contract. ( hey i'm just a pilot, not a fiscalist). Regarding ryanair, they are selfemployed, so i do...

Re: Brussels Airlines adds Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea
It is really unbelievable since Ba is a part of Lufthansa how many people are dreaming around here. I work with german aviation people and for them BA is "JUST" that other tiny little company.
Just be carefull and wait what future brings. That's all i can say.

Hi all
Does anybody know what licence you need to fly a VP registered aircraft??
Is it JAA/FAA or perhaps a licence issued by another authority??

Does there always have to be a new topic opened about the BRU flights for every single day?? It is getting annoying.

Re: Here we go again: new aviation tax ?
I personally think that people are more prepared to give 1€ in a collective fund used for environmental purposes than 1€ tax rise for those crooks in Brussels.
So why not raising ticket prices with 1€ for charity??

Re: Breaking news: Belgium will get new aviation tax!
Somehow i'm not surprised by this act, typical belgium. They always treated aviation in a patronising way.
I'm more concerned about the compulsory emission rights imposed on airline companies.
