Anyone know the serial of the NATO C-17 parked at Melsbroek this morning please? I guess it arrived yesterday afternoon/evening.

Re: BRU 16/05/2010
I travelled back from Casablanca on CN-RNT on Saturday 15/5, although my luggage didn't, and it had been scheduled as a 76 for at least 3 weeks. Luckily I got a seat on an exit row as I had to travel steerage (outbound was in Business on CN-ROY - very nice new leather seats and great food) Shame not...

Re: Journalist lost her flat to Ryanair
Sometimes Regi you talk some utter rubbish! Since when was a wager between 2 or more parties illegal? Maybe in Belgium but in the rest of the world it is a common occurance. Go into any bar or pub and people will be offering wagers on everything from football to whether or not a spider will reach th...

Re: chinese carriers and the alliances
Thank you guys. Abbreviations are fine if you are chatting to mates or industry colleagues and want to show you belong to the "club" but for us mere mortals spelling out the airline name or airport/airfield is preferred option. For example I had to look up UUWW this morning to find it is M...

Re: chinese carriers and the alliances
I am sure there has been an edict about NOT using abbreviations in postings so that simpletons like me will know what the hell you are talking about
What are MU, FM, and HU? It won't take too long to type all the names properly

Re: Reg. wanted Brussels TXL SN2579 on thursday
I agree C-B. There are some very strange spotters in this world - I've been to Heathrow where many of them congregate (plus near the water tower at BRU too!!!)
Have a good flight

Re: Reg. wanted Brussels TXL SN2579 on thursday
I know this is a bit radical but have you ever considered looking out of the window at the boarding gate, maybe using a pair of binoculars and then writing down what is painted on the aircraft. That way you are guaranteed to get it right. If you can't read it off why not ask a crew member. That is t...

Do you really mean loose - as in not tight, or do you mean lose - as in not win?

Hey TL
How come you post about regular stuff but completely miss the star birds that show up
Perfect example today are 2 antique airliners - A Spanish AF B707 and a Ukraine government Il-62.
Surerly more worthy of note than Delata 76's et al? Perhaps you are a civvie only piccie -taker?

all the right letters but not quite in the right order WEATHER
A suggestion - Put your piccies in a logical order in your album. Extremely difficult to tell which are your new shots in amongst 9 pages of similar photos

Re: British spotters arrested at Delhi airport hotel
regi Took a long time for this to be picked up here. It was all over the UK press and aviation mailing lists last week. I suspect the problem was both with their scanners and their "electronic equipment" which it is assumed was an ADS/B receiver (SBS or Radarbox). Could easily be misinterp...
