Re: Cork-Brussels is “Skyscanner Unserved Route of the Week”

Aer Lingus and Brussels Airlines will both look at their databases and see that when they operated BRU-ORK it was loss making. Even though I believe it could be profitable if it had a schedule similar to the past CRL-SNN schedule: Friday evening, Sunday evening, Monday morning. Ryanair seem happy to...

Re: Where will you fly in 2018 ?

Yes a big Skyteam fan. In particular Delta, where my status is Diamond Medallion.
Most of the above flights are Delta, or airlines where I can earn Delta Skymiles: KLM, Gol, Westjet, Aerolineas Argentinas :P

Re: Where will you fly in 2018 ?

Some really impressive lists over here. I suppose these are all business trips? I need to fly BRU-JFK and BRU-ATL a lot for work. I discovered some funky fares with Delta. BRU-ATL-BRU: $1500 But add on a weekend in Chile: BRU-ATL-SCL-ATL-BRU: $900 Such itineraries with a weekend added on, even to f...

Again long security queues at BRU this morning.
Also long passport queues for departing non-Schengen passengers.

OR Scoot from Berlin/Athens - Singapore - Sydney.
Berlin starts in June so might have great launch deals.

Re: Cheapest option?

One of many options:
Brussels Airlines or SAS: Brussels - Oslo/Copenhagen/Stockholm
Norwegian: Oslo/Copenhagen/Stockholm - Bangkok
Jetstar: Bangkok - Melbourne
Loads of airlines: Melbourne - Sydney

OR get from Bangkok to Phuket, and then fly Jetstar from there to Sydney.
