Anybody have a clue about the large aircraft (B767 ?) that I think took off around 20.30 from Brussels ?
Was PH-AHY. Besides it, bit earlier also OO-JAQ & S5-AAA made some noise on their ferry departures.

Splendid weather the past 4 days, however nothing showed up in the skies. Reason well known, until the 19th. Jettime B737-300 OY-JTC at 37000 ft overhead EBBR heading south as JTG9517. Re: Flights cancelled due to volcanic ash cloud from Iceland

The first plane in a belgian airport since thrusday : OO-TAZ BAE146 in LGG Then in BRU : CE-01 E135 and OO-TNF B733 Small correction, TNT for BRU was OO-TNG. Distinction between these two is quite clear: OO-TNG in the usual orange markings visually confirmed came in, OO-TNF is since March 26 in a n...

Re: Flights cancelled due to volcanic ash cloud from Iceland

BRU airport closed from 16.30 The ash cloud is foreseen to be overhead Benelux tomorrow morning according the official meteorological services(IRM/KMI). Why do they then already close the airspace now ? Small clarification: the only advisory organ for Belgian civil aviation and its airports is the ...

Re: Contrail spotting April 2010

Indeed DC10MD11, the best conditions are over, but last winter we had overhere hardly sun. When I was a bit younger, if I recall well, must go back to 1929 to see so few rays of sunshine in Belgium. So not much joy either. Thx Raza_Ali for sharing your pics from Pakistan. Here one of last Saterday: ...

Re: Is this telescope any good?

Hi, the scope seems for no money, but there could be a problem with the high F ratio: in this case f/11.6. So given a fixed acceptable shutter speed you have: dark images with low iso setting or correct exposed images with high iso values (but then they have rather large pixels = grainy). You also n...

Re: Contrail spotting March 2010

Just before taking these images, two contrails flew over and it seemed like one was 200 yards behind the other and at roughly the same altitude. Is this possible? I didn't manage to photograph them. Standard minimum vertical distance is 1000 ft and it's quite impossible to have a correct vision abo...

Hellow, I know very well that this will be an impossible task. But I would like to give it a try. Below you'll see the list i'm searching reg's of. In a lot of cases I don't even have a flight number or timing... But I'm working on that. And when I'm home again I can probably update a lot more timi...
