Re: Quote: "I was Ryanair's slave"
And I would like to add something else, as far as I know, this testimony wasn't echoed AT ALL in the French speaking press despite the fact that this flight attendant is French speaking. ;) Far from me the idea to make it a communitarian matter, but one has to notice that Ryanair and Ryanair...

This company is a big patch of s*** in the European sky. You can't compare it to anything else in the world, even a LCC in India or the Philippines. They are real gangsters and I wish them all of the possible bad luck on the of those days. They can end up in hell it'll all be fine for me. What a dis...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
You can put YUL very high on your do do list too, even with AC on the route. I've said it numerous times: the decision not to open YUL years ago -when all was ready for its launch- is one of the many massive strategic mistakes SN has made in the past, especially in the light of the current decision...

At the limit is not over the limit. JAF crews do it all the time, I don't see the problem IMHO Don't take it wrong, but I'm not sure JAF is to be seen as the right benchmark in that case (though for some...). Have you heard about the turnaround time they're planning in Thailand to stay within the l...

Re: Swiss Transferring Cameroon Service to Brussels Airlines
LOS and ACC are both in overcapacity cases, yields are plummeting. Plus the fact the Gulf carriers are pushing hard there (Even LH group is struggling in ACC). Especially LOS. People don't hesitate to fly with GCC carriers even to the UK if they can fly with a prestigious carrier like EK with a shop...

Re: Last A330-200 flight at SWISS
Here is what I see for SN, hopefully for the next two years: - BKO/COO/LFW/OUA : at least one extra frequency to cope with the business traffic. Current two weekly frequencies is just not enough to attract high yield pax. - BZV/LBV : a thrice weekly triangular flight would be perfect and a big stone...

Re: Last A330-200 flight at SWISS
I think it's in the lessor's will to find a new home for the two frames at the same time with the same operator. SN lost the opportunity on OS's A330 a few years ago because TAP agreed to take all the frames at the same time (thus at a lower unit cost) which wasn't on SN's plans. A seventh would mea...

Re: 28/08/2011 Flightcare work stoppage at Brussels Airport
You're right guys, it's better to be f****d up by the managers and to shut up. Those lazy workers are three men to offload an A330-300 or a 767, tomorrow it'll be done by two men (was already seen by the way) and who knows only one man in 2015. Like this you'll wait three hours for your beloved bags...

Re: Brussels Airlines vs Senegal Airlines
Let's take the other way then:
What would be SN's reaction if Senegal Airlines established a mini-hub in BRU with flights to GVA, TXL, BMA ?
Though I trust SN will smoke Senegal Airlines out with one of their well-known code-sahre agreement one day or the other.

Re: Korongo Airlines
Two key things though:
* No Intl ops for Korongo without two years of experience on domestic market (so no JNB within two years).
* If no start-up before oct 1st 2011 no start-up in 2011 but well Jan 2012 and this in order to avoid any turmoil in the wake of the upcoming presidential election.

Re: Turkish Airlines set for Kigali
Who are the "kings of Africa" that were watching TK with an arrogant look five years ago ?? TK will be dangerous for the lucrative Rwanda - US/Asia traffic. They are really doing good in the U.S and Asia. Their new product is fantastic. The 739ER will have PTV and USB/Charger plugs. It see...

Re: LH will acquire all SN shares by june 2012.
In the news report made (in French) by Trends/Tendances, il is also mentioned that Brussels Airlines would lose as much as 60 million euros by the end of 2011, due mainly to higher fuel costs, the renewal of the fleet and the refurbishing of the cabins of the medium-haul fleet. Not sure LH will lik...

Re: Air India: "Jet Airways may join Star Alliance too"
9W and Star is blablabla and a lot of blablabla speculation on the back of Air India. In fact S.T negotiates hard with 9W and GOL, it is widely known at AF-KL, plus Schiphol is also taking part to the talks with 9W. They absolutely want those two. Having in mind that GOL-Varig might start interconti...

Re: Brussels Airlines to start US service in 2012
SN seem to be convinced they are seriously hindered in selling their current African destinations on the US market because of the chronic lack of a North American link of their own. They do have a point in that flights by UA and 9W are already quite full without any feed from Africa, meaning SN hav...

Re: Turkish Airlines set for Kigali
TK really becomes a huge impressive company !!! Look at the portfolio of destinations, their new widebodies, the new cabins, they keep receiving new 320s and 737s each month... and their service is really improving. Their sport sponsorship campaign is a real phenomenon and the "Globally yours&q...

Re: Stewardessen Brussels Airlines kennen weinig glamour
I don't think this place is the best to talk about labour issues. I'll just say it's really silly and childish to compare work conditions of JAF, FQ with SN. Do you hear people of Thomas Cook UK comparing with BA ? Tuifly.de with LH ? XL France with AF ? :?: :?: You enter a flagship carrier with the...

Re: BRU summer 2011: latest news, routes, airlines
Don't forget Lufthansa is controlling and monitoring ANY Star A. long-haul move in BRU. Therefore, TG, SQ, NH will come (back) to BRU if and only if there is a will from Lufthansa. I think TG learnt it at its own expense not so long ago. Lufthansa has to keep the golden eggs as long as possible 8-) ...
