Definitely well spent, if you compare it to the much higher amount of taxpayers' money that is used for the Belgian railways.

I wonder how Liège Airport can grow to such a capacity with just 700.000 euro's... Are we sure it is not 7 million?

Exactly my thought. I wonder what they are waiting for if you look at the success of the Westjet-route from Dublin to St John's.

Re: 3 'new' routes for Antwerp, but is it enough?

Interesting article inthe Belgian newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen. The paper gives a list of the current and future destinations out of ANR. Quite a few suprises if you ask me. - Alicante - Barcelona - Berlin - Brive - Deauville - Dresden - Dublin - Florence - Jersey - London - Malaga - Milan - Nantes...

Re: easyJet Adds 19 New Routes for Winter 2014 Season

Interesting sentence about the new destination Hamburg: "Flights will go on sale from 17 July 2014 starting at €42.32, based on 2 people flying one way."

Is it cheaper per person if you fly with 2 people instead of 1...? (or do they just take the admin fees into account here)

Re: Ryanair in 2014

FR is not going to ditch it's 81m passengers it has at the moment in a quest for the "premium passenger". As I said before, the bottom line is still to offer the cheapest fare in europe and at the mean time pick up passengers that found FR to be to inconvenient. All you are doing at the m...

Thanks for your updates! This is a great way to follow a press conference!

Maybe you can ask MOL how he sees his plans to fly transatlantic now that WestJet will link Dublin with Newfoundland (with a B737)?

Re: Ryanair in 2014

I would not be suprised if MOL came to Brussels to announce new routes from Charleroi instead of BRU. It could be a nice gesture towards CRL now that FR will fly from BRU as well. After all, Charleroi has always been a very loyal partner towards Ryanair. And, by the way, press conferences in the pas...

Re: BRU - new "Connector"

Maybe a stupid question, but as far as I remember, the "gap" between the A en B-piers is often used by cargo planes to taxi to and from the cargo hangars. What will happen when that gap is filled biy the connector?
