Re: The one and only which runway in use @ EBBR-topic

really, I have never seen this. There is quite a lot of traffic now there, this would be quite dangerous, wouldn't it?

Re: Ryanair CEO latest interview + EK reportage

This translates to availability of destinations and schedule: many Ryanair routes are not even flown daily, never mind having several departure times per day to choose from. In addition they often fly to inconveniently located airports. Another thing is that for any given airport Ryanair flies from...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news 2012

well, for one I don't have a car, and for two I think 50 minute-flight comparing to 8-h drive is a big difference, esp. in terms of money since this flight was always at max. 12€ one way. And Bayern is very touristic and nice, Munich was 125km away. To me it looked like a great idea... I hope they t...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news 2012

Does anyone know why Ryanair is giving up the Memmingen route so quickly (no more flights as from November). For once that we had a German destination, I'm very sad!

Re: The let us know Superfares Topic !

As a FRrequent user, I own a Mastercard Prepaid and the CRL-BUD-CRL I have just bought cost me exactly 0,78 euro. Are you using a Moneybookers MasterCard ? Once again mine was declined this morning, two weeks ago I tried to add funds and nothing worked... I'm really thinking about another option li...

Re: The "let us know Superfares" Topic !

Like a month ago, I saw a KLM RT fare AMS to HKG for 158EUR. Probably a mistake, 40minutes later it was gone and back to 580 or so. I was just following the prices from AMS or BRU to HKG on TripAdvisor. The booking link was via expedia, and I went till the page where I needed to give my CC number, ...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news 2012

I did : just bought a CRL-BUD return for 8,78 euros all included ... that is value for money ! I tried to book a return flight for the very same fare using my Mastercard Prepaid yesterday but the payment could not be processed. I have enough balance on it and have never had any problem using this c...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news 2012

@ stefanel: the number you have on your boarding card doesn't mean you are the 18th pax on this flight, It means you are the 18th checked in. But not all the pax check in, they forget or just don't know. I know this but one week before the flight generally much more than 18pax are web-checked-in. I...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news 2012

Budapest - Charleroi will now be 13 weekly. Wow! Ryanair 13 weekly, Wizz Air 14 weekly! There will be overcapacity on that route. A capacity well over that of BRU-BUD. Who will be the first to retreat? This is indeed too much. I purchased a ticket last Thursday for this Thursday so D-7, for 3.49€ (...

Re: The one and only which runway in use @ EBBR-topic

Winds are definitely easterly all right, but not particularly strong, though. At under 20kts from only 50 degrees offset in relation to the runway axis, there really is no reason not to go for the more common configuration of rwy02 with an ILS over a visual line up on the RWY07L really, as that wou...

Re: With JetairFly to Aqaba, Jordan, on a B737-700

Did you also pass Aqaba and only do the U-turn 50km South of the runway? I had this in May 2011 and I found this sooo stupid, to lose so much time, why the hell do the u-turn this far south. It's a loss of at least 10min. cos it's like 100km more for whichever reason I don't know. And it was even wo...

Re: The one and only which runway in use @ EBBR-topic

I'm still puzzled at the RWY in use at EBBR. Right now, wind 070 18kt, and landings are on 02 and not 07L why??? thanks if anyone can answer, stef 07L is not a common landing runway. when wind is coming from the north (-east) runway 02 is used for landings while runway 07R is used for take-off. (07...

Re: what the hell is this new FR delay/cancel levy tax?

well, I'm really disgusted! I usually support Ryanair but those silly extras have to go! Who cares about the basis fare when you always end up paying over the double ? Without mentioning that I always pay more for my coach ticket to Charleroi than my flight. And when we had a 3h+ delay due to closur...

I tried to find info on their website, but couldn't ?
