Re: From Brussels to Sri Lanka with Etihad (part 2: return)
Thanks André for this report. I'm flying with Etihad next week. BRU-AUH-PEK on the way out and KTM-AUH-BRU on return. I never flown with EY, so I'm very curious ...

I confirm 07R. It looks like 07L is also blocked by AY818N.

Re: Malaysia Airlines says it has lost contact with flight M
I see two options ... (but I'm not an aviation expert) A sudden and total electrical loss (but is it really technically possible ?). They tried to go back to a near airport (in Malaisia), but without any instruments and at night, they flew over Malaisia (quite narrow at this place). They continued o...

Re: Ryanair at Brussels Airport
I totally agree with CRew 1990. There were a lot of discussions of the future competition between SN and FR, but I think the real challenge on destinations like BCN, FCO or VCE/TSF will be between Vueling and Ryanair. If we look at what happened a few months ago, it is obvious that Ryanair decided (...

Re: Ryanair in 2014
Please STOP this SN - FR battle!!!!!!!! I agree, this become really boring. This forum could be very convivial and interesting but a very few members are really polluting the place. I think it's enough, "schhooltijd is voorbij" ... Btw, I'm totally neutral between FR and SN but it is an e...

Re: Are seatbelts useless ?
My last transatlantic flight was EXTREMELY turbulent, to the point you could not go to the toilet and there was no inflight service for over 2 hours. I was very lucky to have a seatbelt and be able to strap it on very tightly, or I would have had several very close and unpleasant encounters with th...

Hi Lex, Did you get a cheap flight to OSL ? Nice, I've been there this summer. Oslo is a very nice city, surrounded by a beautifull nature. Lakes and forest are really at the edge of the town. Let's hope for you that the weather will be nice and not too cold !!! The big problem for tourists in Oslo ...

Re: next 787 at BRU ??
STD 0800lcl to CDG The usual route is ADD-CDG-BRU (ETA 08h45 local time) for the inbound flight and BRU-CDG-ADD (ETD 19h55h local) for the outbound flight. Do you mean that friday the flight will stop first at Brussels before continuing to CDG ? What about the outbound flight in that case ? CDG - B...

Re: BRU 10/09/2012 Ethiopian B787
Goodmorning, Yesterday, after the salute of the Ethiopian B787, there was another salute from the fire brigade for an Air One plane just in front of gate 45. It was around 11h00. What was the reason for this? New route? New plane? Or just a free plane wash :D ... Thanks for the answer. Rgds, CRJ 90...
