Assuming VLM aren't intending to radically change their business model, which has been so successful thus far, namely flying (mainly) business passengers between small, central airports, if they are to replace the F50 then it would have to be with planes capable of landing at airports like LCY. - Do...

At least VLM uses the aircraft for what it's built for: short rwy ops. Can you indicate which aircraft VLM might be able to use for it's ops? Can't be a long list - 50-130 (?) seater category I imagine... Would any Embraer jets work? Or Q400? Or Saab2000? These are all nice aircraft, perhaps VLM sh...

It could be worse, they could have called it... b-low *botch: make a mess of, destroy or ruin; "I botched the dinner and we had to eat out"; "the pianist screwed up the difficult passage in the second movement" *waste: spend thoughtlessly; throw away; "He wasted his inherita...

There was a topic on here or A.net (don't remember that well) with a news article in it that claimed FR wanted 15 a/c based in CRL in al couple of years... Once the new terminal is here, they will grow, that's a fact. Buzz, here's the discussion I think you were referring to on Charleroi's new term...

To summersso: You'll love their service ... Maybe you'll only wanna fly with VLM after it ... :D Maybe indeed! If they were to start flying to Central Europe, definitely! Bought a ticket for my first flight on VLM a week ago (BRU-LCY on 4/4, 17.15) and delighted to read all this positive news about the airline. Really looking forward to a good experience, I hope I'm not disappointed. A friend mentioned the F50's tend to fly lower and slower than other aircraft so you...

While I understand their desire to bring together all services to one main airport, a large (business?) capital city like Berlin should have a second, smaller, more central airport - comparable to say London City. They could even reduce the size of the airfield and apron and remove unused buildings ...

Question: If they build a low-cost terminal wouldn't they also then need to separate Schengen and non-Schengen traffic? As the share of low-cost traffic increases at BRU as I expect it will (growth of existing airlines which operate at BRU along with future airlines like easyJet) and in-line with th...

"It will be a very simple terminal, without seats, without toilets, in order to reduce costs". (taken from the latest news article in English) They must be kidding - no seats, no toilets?!!!! Even Charleroi has seats and toilets! As does Warsaw Etiuda, even Beauvais - the worst low-cost a...
