Pamela can't fly

She's lost her wings. But why is the structure testing A380 called Pamela?

Real. However, it must have been very humid, as there are those vapour streaks from the wingtips, and it looks more like condensation off the wings than the normal contrails.

This is ridiculous..... Why would the US Government try to fly anything into the Pentagon? Some freaks decided to be 'jihadis' and to try and kill as many people as possible in the name of Islam (which is stupid, as the Koran apparently tells Muslims to be peacefull..... ) and hijacked a 757 ...

I understand that your calculations seemed to have worked, but I still don't get how you can have perpetual motion. It's kind of physically impossible.... However, people used to say that it was impossible for people to fly, and that the earth was flat, so if someone makes a real prototype, then I w...

Comair are a franchise carrier. BA don't own them, decide where they fly or anything like that. Besides, just because a jet is old, that does not mean that it is unsafe. Cayman Airways, which, as Cayman is a UK dependancy, is registered with the CAA, flies 737-200s. They are maintained to the same r...

BA's Club World has had rear facing seats for years now, apparently they are fine to be in. This new layout does look horribly claustrophobic though.

This is probably good news. Airbus could give BA a killer deal, to get a very well respected and large carrier onboard the program. They have around 50 744s to replace over the next 20 years, and a mix of 748Is and A380s could be perfect.

I only got back 2 days ago, and was very tired as the point of the trip was to get better at rowing, we were doing 30 miles a day.
I will write to TAP management, and to the CAA. If, god forbid, there is an accident with one of their jets, then people could die or be injured unnessesarily. :(

How do TAP get away with being so lax?

I flew with TAP Portugal from London Gatwick to Porto and then back to Heathrow. on both flights, the saftely video was cut short, and no checks were made to secure the cabin for takeoff or landing. on the return flight, a passenger a few rows in front of me left her seatbelt draped over the armrest...

New York via Cancun? That's a very long way to go.....

Why don't Jetair invest in some aircraft that have not come from charter airlines? I think United have some 777s in the deasert.
