Witch only can backfire if Tomorrowland goes south in the next 5 years. In that view TinTin and Magrite are more of a safe bet. The Red Devils is somewhere in between

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017
To all : I've never said Tomorrowland was not a social success among the world. I said : the livery expresses a very specific kind of success, still immature in regard to established art, which demands the weight of years to proof itself. Tomorrowland can be annihilated in a snap of finger, if the m...

The cause of this incident is quite obvious.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017
Disappointoing, from my point of view. Sheme itself looks great, but I don't personnaly see Tomorrowland as a major success of Belgium, rather a successfull economical branch of Brussels Airlines strategy (but not only).

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
Brussels calls every flight over one of the 19 Brussels cities "disturbing for all Brussels people". That is not true. Most flights are only disturbing for some inhabitants. Example: a flight taking off from 25R and flying towards Tervuren is not heard at Uccle. Hence the relevance of the...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
I'm calculating now how many departing flights from CRL and LGG fly over Flanders. Brussels does not care about CRL and LGG. Let's limit ourselves to BRU, OK? It's already difficult enough. Otherwise, why not exporting the problems and calculating how many flights from LIL, EIN and MST are flying o...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
And I don't understand why. Perhaps the aim is to inconvenience a lower number of people, but, by doing that, they submit that lower number to a higher nuisance as you say. That should change in the way you imply it imho. This has been attempted, but the majority of the inhabitants of Brussels newl...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
No, it's not correct. First, nobody lives below 25's APP. Second, major DEP trafic overflies BRU. You can dream on, but reality will catch.

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
But, of course, the nuisance is not contained to these areas, nor to the Brussels region and an acceptable and balanced compromise (there is NO real solution!) MUST be found by and for all populations involved. Would a 6:30 am limit (among other measures, like more adequate dispersion of take-off r...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
So what are you going to do then? Move 48.000 jobs to Charleroi and Liège? The workers from Flanders will really like that idea (not!)... 48000 ? Why not 100000, a billion ? Stop this pure drama alstublieft . Noise restrictions has nothing to do with a - potential - lossjob situation. The fact is :...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
A philosopher from Brussels has the solution: shrinking BRU to 4 million passengers. http://www.demorgen.be/opinie/luchthaven-zaventem-zo-kunnen-we-het-oplossen-b93970fe/ After having been attacked by terrorists from the European capital of terrorism now the NIMBY's think it's their turn. Re: Brussels region noise regulation
Those numbers are wrong. All south DEP trafic overflies Brussels. You have to add those figure (around 40000 DEP) to the 5261... The only error in my post has just been corrected. No, you are still wrong. And at this stage you show a willingness not to understand. DEP trafic is about 70% above Brus...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
Brussels get the majority of the DEP flights (and UGent does'nt say the contrary). I have always thaught that figures are the same in Dutch, in French and in English. Apparently, they are not. In French, it seems that 5.261 is more then 38.565 (inhabitants). And it also seems that, in French, 3.600...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
Lots of people here argues that, leaving in proximity of an airport leads to accept the noise. You are damn right , that's why it would be no problem at all for the Noordrand to keep more flights above their heads... The arguments is valid in any case. So what ? Why so many flights over Brussels ? @...

Ok. Does flemish gvt care about those "thousands" of jobs at risk just because they refuse to adapt the spreading plan more equally ? Easy to do : take responsibility.

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
In any case, whatever the way in which the calculations are made, Brussels Regio has the right to impose noise restrictions over his territory.
Punt aan de lijn.
Edit : by the way, all the southern turns overflies Brussels. Rightly.
