Hi everyone, Here's something I would like to throw in the group for everyone, not because it's the thruth, not because it is the only way forward, just because it is one of the many interpretations of the current situation of Bru.Air. And this is my interpretation. :) Firstly, I would like to comme...

A customer of Brussels airlines can easy reserve a flight on another airline, only to avoid a possible strike. Once a customer is gone, ....... it costs a lot of efforts and money to re-attract him Your point of view would have been understandable if crews had been on strike, refusing to fly, prefe...

As someone wrote, in a couple of years Schengen will be expanded to countries like Poland and Czech Republic and the other recently joined EU member states, making better use of the capacity in Terminal A. Not even in a few years. From 01/01/2008 all new member states (except Bulgaria & Romania...

flight SN2823 to BUD
Quite probably, since the plane is standing at the B pier. Only non-schengen countries are boarded at the B pier, and as BUD isn't in Schengen yet (Greece and Italiy are), it has to be that plane.

Indeed, judging by the scalemodel, it seems that the parkings will undergo some changes. Also it looks like there will be a sort of bridge from the terminal to the "airport village". Anyway, I don't know if this has something to do with it, but in this article ( http://www.hln.be/hlns/cach...

Actually, I also don't quite get why they wouldn't want shops in the low cost terminal. In my opinion, if you're going to gain less on the various charges (paid by airline or pasenger), you would want to augment your profit by other things, e.g. shops, advertisements, etc. I would be surprised to fi...

So, no shops, no seats and no toilets in the pier. But more shops, seats and toilets in the "lounge". And how exactly does this cost less? I'm sure it does save costs, but I don't see how this can be such a substantial amount. Having no airbridges would save costs indeed, especially if you...
