This was such a nice topic.

Aren't there any other counters you can put on the website? The Belstat one also isn't working anymore (God knows for how long already). I loved looking who was online!

No, no wedding for myself.

But I did go to a wedding on 07/07/07 in Warsaw. Took the plane on 06/07 to come back on 08/07. Was a very nice wedding, although the weather didn't really cooperate in the beginning. After the church, the weather was better.

Maybe a reopening of the C-pier could be a solution in the future, before the new LCC terminal is ready... Or is the terminal no more "up to date"? Based on a PM I got about a year ago, from someone in Brussels Airport: really not up to date anymore. That would even be an understatement. ...

Little or even no problem I believe, as the Schengen area will be enlarged in the future. The new Eastern European countries and even Switzerland will join the Schengen Area. Just my 2 cents: Try Abelag, maybe they can help you, you never know. Are there any airlines with such a small plane that stays overnight at BRU? They are allowed to fly at night and are anyway standing there... Don't know about the crew though. Any airports in the vicinity of Belgium? Dusseldorf, M...

Taxes are not the basic problem: BruAir capt Gross 7000 tax 3500 Net 3500 Easy Capt Gross 10000 tax 3000 Net 7000 So the difference in tax is only 500 a month. The gross salary at BruAir is simply too low... Hold on, there's something wrong with your calculation. I'm not saying that your gross sala...

If taking his own father on the jumpseat is any threat to safety, or irresponsible, then I absolutely cannot do anything, indeed. The question is, where do you draw the line. So you take your father. And you also have a good friend, lets say, a highly respected doctor in London for example... Do yo...

Oh yeah... that sounds brilliant, flybe. What if the pilot knows the person he allowed on the jumpseat (friend or relative f.i.), would you still file a complaint? Twisted Evil Actually, yes. A person that has no business there, shouldn't be there, point. Stop taking pilots for idiots! Do you think...

And since 9/11 you need to have a very good reason to get in the cockpit... Anyone can pretend to be a student pilot while actually being a terrorist! At 9/11, they were even student pilots. So as a passenger, I would be astonished if you were allowed to enter the cockpit during flight! And I would...

Quite hostile answers from most people here. It was to be expected, they feel like their hobby (or work for many) is under attack. Still there is some truth in your remarks. And what is more important: hobby or future? No one is saying aviation needs to come to a full stop. But it needs to start ini...

Why did they demolish the small pier ? To make space for parking stands for long haul cargo planes. This was asked by DHL, if I'm not mistaking.
