Re: The Jetairfly Boeing 787

And the crowded cockpit has one reason: the pilots have to learn on short-haul trips before engaging in long-haul routes! This is absolutely wrong. As an administrator of this forum, please don't invent absolute nonsense about things you absolutely don't know. Do you sincerly think 2 pilots on a ju...

Re: BRU 04/12/2013

Just a guess... But I imagine they'll want some pictures in front of Jetairport right after delivery. My guess is she'll land on 25L, make a long rollout, stop in front of Jetairport, and then taxi to 117. Once again, THIS IS A GUESS. Don't try to use my head as chewing gum if you're at 25L and she...

Re: The www.luchtzak.be update and downtime topic

As some of you probably have noticed, luchtzak.be was hard to reach the last hours. Due to a DDOS-attack on the server, I had to shut down some services untill all was over. On some moments, serverload was over 500 where 4.0 is actually 100%. Let's hope adjustments I've made help and the attacks are...

Re: OO-TUC retirement

Hi all, According to a few people within JAF, OO-TUC will be retired in september. This is, as far as we know, before the B788 will arrive and therefore JAF will lease additional equipment from Arke. Any reason why TUC will be prematurally retired? Quite obviously leasing in an aircraft and crew is...

Re: A surprising picture

Sorry to burst the bubble, but it is not real. It is photshopped. How do i know? First of all, if the bird is really going downwards, there wouldn't be so much sunlight on its wings. And second, the plane that really made these contrails would never be fully coverd by the bird. Beneath the paw of t...

According to some posts on A.net, there isn't a crew rest area on the ET 787's on that place

A new Cargolux 748F (LX-VCI) has been delivered and flown straight to Marana Airpark in Arizona for storage. Two other 748Fs (one from Air Bridge Cargo and one from Nippon Cargo Airlines) are also stored in Marana. In addition, there are many deferrals, changes of owners, re-registration from a fin...

A hardware-upgrade will be performed on June 12th, around 6am. If all, and I don't expect any trouble, goes well, there will a downtime of about 5 minutes.

Thanks for understanding :)
