Re: Eurowings vs. Brussels Airlines

And what about long haul Brussels Airlines and short haul Eurowings ?
Then you would have a tiny airline called Brussels Airlines, which makes marketing and brand recognition really difficult.

Re: Brexit and Airbus

However, if the UK is no longer part of the European Union, it's unlikely that Airbus will invest further in the U.K.
Wrong, nothing will change. Except if the UK reduce corporation tax, then Airbus might invest a whole lot more.

and will certainly not fail to forward this to the federal police
But isn't that the problem, the airport not getting involved in every part of the passenger's journey from arrival at the airport to boarding the aircraft :(

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2016

Most unusual indeed. Maybe LIL was the best airport where stranded passengers could continue to their final destination with another aircraft from another airline? Just guessing...
Lille was the nearest airport with good enough visibility conditions (no low cloud or rain/fog).

And no, I consider the mandatory visit to a shopping mall not “a great customer experience” and think not that many pax think it is. It’s just there for revenue, revenue and revenue. Nice report. I believe this shopping mall detour is not health and safety compliant. The passage is too restricted. ...

Re: Jet Airways out of Brussels

Looks wishful thinking to me I think of it this way: Delhi Airport are asked in an interview was does the future hold for them. Top of mind is the fact that they are engaged in discussions with Brussels Airlines regarding a route to Brussels. That can only be a good thing. And yes, there are many o...

Apparently, Federal Minister for the Interior, Jan Jambon, and the Police unions have agreed to new security procedures starting Wednesday that will "drastically decrease" the waiting times. http://www.hln.be/hln/nl/1901/reisnieuws/article/detail/2693215/2016/05/02/Nog-tot-woensdag-lange-w...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

It seems to me that there are far mote waiting queues during the weekend. I am due to travel Wednesday evening. With the bank holiday on Thursday, I expect the airport to be extremely busy. Looking at a sample of flights scheduled on Wednesday evening, many are fully booked. What's more, there will...

At the beginning of May: Ryanair, Jetair, Vueling, Easyjet, Aer Lingus, TAP, Iberia, SAS etc are all due to re-establish full schedules at BRU. That's one week away. Will the security check and check-in facilities be able to cope with increased passenger through put by then?
