You misunderstood my point I believe. But anyway. DAT did prove itself but Brussels hasn't.
And by the way, currently there is only 1 airline booming in Belgium and it ain't Brussels! But that's the last thing I have to say about this.

ok this is getting off topic but just to answer your question: every airline in Belgium needs to be treated the same so no special favours for SN. BUT Brussels airlines is the national carrier (sort of) because they are the only real normal pax carrier. The others are charter or cargo companies. I ...

hi Teddy, I fully agree with you on the Sabena matter. What I meant was that the Belgian state got more money out of it than it put in. The money they got trough taxes on personnel, landing charges,... were huge amounts. Now a lot of those people who earned a lot of money (pilots mostly because the...

To be honest, the title of this posting should rather be: pilot shortage in Belgium... 'cause I don't think that brussels airlines is the only one having this situation... And of course I mean experienced pilots not young FO's

One thing to say about this, if an airliner management is really considering these things, they are not focussing on the most important thing in aviation: safety, and that's just plain dangerous. I will never step into a commercial airliner with 2 pilots of which neither of them is captain. And that...

What is it anyway, that you need to have your father, friend, etc. next to you. They only distract you from your job anyway (if you would be an office clerck, try to imagine taking your father with you to your office for a day)? You really can't miss them for a few hours? Oh my god, I can't believe...

last info is an arrival around 8 AM on the 10th in BRU(leaving Seattle on the 9th). Of course this time can change around a bit...It will only be 100% sure when it's in the air, and even then... (fuelstop or no fuelstop).
