Blue1 fleet renewal - B717 to BRU?

Strange nobody mentioned this before, but according to luchtvaartnieuws.nl Blue1 is getting rid of their BAe's and will acquire as up to 20 Boeing 717s. So in a while we'll see 717s at BRU too I guess. Never thought there were still so many 717s fying. Where will they come from? Anyone info is wellc...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news

Re: BRU 29/04/2009

The Air Transat departure is delayed, and I saw the A310 3 times (and maybe missed it once or twice) lining up for landing.
Anybody knows why? I guess they had some test flights but i do not know why.

Re: Long haul plans at Brussels Airport by 2011

At last we find Emirates in the list. Looking at their current destinations we find several airports much smaller than BRU (Nice, Hamburg, Venice, Malta, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle). A bit weird to me they are flying to those (with all respect) 3th row airports, rather than 2nd row airports such...

I thought there was a specific post about Air DC but I can't find it. Therefor, administrator, please put this post where it belongs. According to the Belgian newsspaper L'Echo Air DC will start flights by the end of this year under a Belgian license. More info would be very welcome. Kind Regards, P...

Re: tnt and aa at Brussels Airport ?

Hi JOVAN, I hope you are wrong that accidents will happen in BRU. What you say about changing runways is correct and I hope the finally decide to use runways the safest way and not the way they can win most votes at the elections. If more airlines would come to BRU (economical growth or now SN joine...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

It's way too early to know what will happen, but I don't expect a lot of changes in the near future. The main effect are on code share level I guess. Now SN is code sharing with BA, which probably will be replaced by British Midland. I have my doubts on American Airlines (One World member), but mayb...

Re: spotting at Malpensa or Geneva

I've been in GVA several times, but from the terminal it's not good to spot aircrafts. The viewer's terrace has been closed since July 2007 (or somewhere close to that period). There is a little restaurant but even there viewing is very difficult. Outside the terminal there's a cultural eventing hal...

Olympic Flights - Belgian olympic delegation landing at BRU

Hi, I heard on the radio the Belgian olympic delegation will be landing in Brussels tomorrow, but they spoke about 2 flights. I suggest one of those flights is the regular Hainan-flight direct from Beijing, but what's the other one? Or are they passing through AMS, CDG, LHR, FRA, ... ? Anybody who k...

SN flights to Paris CDG

Hi,

The second morning connection between BRU and CDG is now effective since a few weeks.
Any body an idea about the result (Loadfactors on both flights)? Was it a successfull decision?

Thanks,
