Re: Stuck on FR 737 in Rome, emergency ?
The 3 stewards and the lone stewardess stood by their galleys and sold food and drinks to all passengers who wanted it. But Ryanair being Ryanair, nothing is free...! According to EU regulation in force here, drinks and snacks should have been provided for free as soon as it became clear the delay ...

If/when they take delivery of their A400Ms, they'll have to do it anyway.
No extra point for guessing what it will be.
BTW- what does the "C" stand for?

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
One reason why the charter figures are not divulged is that they might be difficult to compute. It is well known that SN operates many charter flights for TCAB (HQ): should the figures be reckoned in the HQ share or in the SN share of the airport activity? From a business/economical point of view y...

Next year, SN will indeed operate more flights than ever before and transport even more passengers than this year: for that purpose it is planning to add yet another A319 as well as an A320 to its fleet as from spring, increasing the fleet size to 25 Airbus A32F.

Re: Aviation and the Ebola epidemic in West-Africa
Ful protective suits are indeed onboard and briefings on how to use them are given, also by staff of MSF. I am sure Ryanair has the same, given they are just as likely to have a symptomatic passenger on a European flight from BRU as anybody else you know, with MSF having its Ebola expertise centre s...

Re: Aviation and the Ebola epidemic in West-Africa
After completing their duties in Africa, medical staff from MSF will often come back to the MSF training centre in BRU to debrief and share their experiences; from there they continue to their home country. In this particular case, the doctor did NOT return from CRY on SN indeed and he simply happen...

Re: short flight report BRU-AGP-BRU with SN in C-class
Pre-selection is a nice thing, but for many business class (honestly, who came up with that biz&class rubbish name) passengers it is just not practical. Besides, the meal should be good for the ones who didn't think of preselecting it. When you do not preselect a meal, the system will do a sele...

Re: short flight report BRU-AGP-BRU with SN in C-class
Indeed, the 4 different products are all successfully rolled out now, but not all the add-ons are in place yet. What you see as pre-selection of meals in biz&class is just the tip of the iceberg. Expect much more options and add-ons to be added to biz&class as well to also the other classes ...

Re: Ryanair in 2014
So in short: another non-telling press conference. It seems to have become a habbit with FR's press conferences for Belgium since the start of this year. But then, the market in BRU isn't exactly reacting as expected either, is it? ;) The most interesting element is to hear ryanair label its own ave...
