Re: Contrail spotting October 2011

Is the bottom image actually an Etihad A330? The tail looks similar, plus a KC767 doesn't have winglets (I think :? )

Re: New security screening at BRU

Thanks for the info, The THY will be TC-JNF seen in Brussels 16th, 17 & 19th August, I'm looking forward to catching some narrow-bodies from THY in BRU once the summer season finishes! Also maybe of more interest to the photo people B738 TC-JGL operating today from Ankara recently re-painted int...

Re: New security screening at BRU

Have they thought about opening all the security lanes as well, that'll speed it up. Most times I fly from B in the morning usually at least 2 points are unmaned. Profiling is probably happening already anyway.

Re: SWISS to revise policy for credit card transactions

If I remember correctly Brussels Airlines have been charging for credit cards for a while now. I think Bancontact is free of charge, just checking a past booking I had my AmEx card was debited an extra 15 euros for a 2 pax ticket, of course I'm sure Brussels processed the 2 tickets separately:) Chee...

LGG 27/07/2011

Hi,

Are there any LGG spotters that can confirm that a B742 reg'd EK-74739 landed there around midday today?

Re: Belgocontrol ATIS phone service

Sorry, not really an answer, but why do you still need the phone number when all the ATIS's are online on their web page? Wish to consult them just prior to take-off, perhaps? Hi Jan, I got as far as http://www.belgocontrol.be/belgoweb/publishing.nsf/Content/AtisVolmet but can't see exactly where t...

Re: Aviapartner lost handling license at BRU to Swissport

Forgive my uneducated passenger point of view, but will striking actually change the decision? I would imagine that the employees of Aviapartner will want to join Swissport right, it doesn't exactly encourage Swissport to take on these people.
