Re: connection missed
And just for info, there is a direct SN flight BRU-Vilnius every day. We know, but when taking the direct flight on sunday (13h30), she had to leave to the airport at 10h30 and she would have lost the whole sunday (and a boring afternoon/evening in a hotel in vilnius). She would also have missed a ...

Re: connection missed
I found the 250 euro's on the internet (I think it was a page of the EU, but I can't find it now), I'm also not aware of a letter (didn't ask) Flights were booked together. Booked with SN (but all operated by LH). It were flights - SN7009 (LH1019) BRU - FRA 19:05 => 20:10 - SN7099 FRA - VIL 20:55 =>...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
I wonder when the train station will be open again it will still be possible to get a bus. I know people who for instance come by train and take the bus to go to their work in the neighbourhood. I'm one of them ;-) I have a company car, and a lot of traffic jams. I can come 1 day per week by train ...

Re: Belgocontrol ATC strike from 22 April 2016
The most important thing I want to know if there are alreayd negotiotiations which restarted? I just want to see that everyone is looking for a (nogociated) solution so that these problems are over. The only thing I read is that the action is till going on and the many condemnations, but are they ne...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
The situation is untenable. If things at BRU do not change, SN can not continue. And what is untenable? Today the situation is much better. I've heared 3 people who went to the airport today. And everything went smooth. Yesterday there was a problem. Today it's solved. I don't think BRU can do much...

Re: Rebuilding the Terminal of Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, a part of the departure hall will be open before summer, but only with a functional design, so that more then 800 passengers can be checked in per hour. In about 14 days, a decision will be made about the future of the departure hall (it is not mentioned what this de...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
In 'Het Laatste Nieuws' of today a 2 pages article about the traffic jams and waiting time for checkin. 5 causes are detected 1. People arrive to early (up to 5 hours in front). Together wit the people who are coming on time (3h in advance), this is causing too much traffic 2. Nobody takes the fly o...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
I was talking to a colleague today, and het told me the traffic jams of this morning were NOT there because of the passengers who are coming by car to the airport. In fact, it is the first exit (to the roundabout) which is causing the traffic jam. Because every vehicle who is entering the airport to...
