Re: Further accelerating growth figures from SN, posting 13% growth in October.
Just a question: how can you grow 26% on africa with the same amount of airplanes with "only" a 4% rise in LF? With same 8 planes could only work if less planes are actually employed on African routes this Oct compared to last year in the same period. When did they stop the seasonal Washi...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
Dear Andre, was something mentioned about profit expectations? I guess this was not the topic of the press meeting but given their passenger growth numbers over last 2 years one would wish SN to make a profit this year. Thanks

Re: Ryanair in 2015
so if I understand these figures correctly, in a period of two years they improved 12 percent points, I would not call this a failure... this is actually a major achievement, unless of course all the others improved even more over that same period btw: if they repeat the same feat over coming two ye...

Re: Loop: Brussels Airlines' new frequent flyer programme
Congrats to SN in offering a new programme for European focused customers I am getting to similar number of 30 plus flights needed as Airazurtor with a 69 euro ticket but that assumes fuel cost is taken onboard and also gives the right to loops (Barcelona 10 euro ticket + 10 euro fuel, rest tax) Doe...

I think one should look at this in its totality The connector has brought in my opinion much more comfort and above all time gain including when passing through the shopping area. It is not ideal but a small sacrifice when comparing to these overall benefits PS can somebody tell me what works are go...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
I tried to book Brussels -Nairobi last week, besides to my surprise the Privatair flight the other alternative LH is offering is a flight to Addis via Jeddah and then another with Ethiopian to Nairobi. You can hardly call this a selling proposition. Four 'legs' from Brussels... I booked with Swiss. ...

Re: SAS HAM CPH CRJ 900
thanks for your report! Fyi, Adria still has a CRJ700 and one 200, the rest are 900s, not sure why that is as to comfort it is indeed nice if nobody is sitting next to you but if two tall people sit next to each other it is very cramped. I had it last week but fortunately the purser saw our predicam...

Re: Lufthansa CEO: "SN could become part of Eurowings"
It is probably useful to refer back to a German source i.e Handelsblatt (De Tijd of Germany, or FT of UK) http://www.handelsblatt.com/unternehmen/handel-konsumgueter/lufthansa-tochter-eurowings-soll-uebernahmen-vorantreiben/11986310.html There is talk of the following: 1) Eurowings should take over ...

Isn't it about time to set up some counter action? Organise a manifestation or happening or march in favour of aviation and / or specifically in favour of Brussels Airport? Appear as counter-manifestors when/where this stupid bunch of nimby's shows up? Set up a "Friends of Brussels Airport&quo...

Re: BRU Winter 2015/2016: latest news, routes, airlines
I must say I am sad that NBO is scrapped but I can see the business logic, from my personal experience it is true that there were less passengers on that flight compared to years ago. On the other hand it is nice to see SN doing well now. I also appreciate that they take feedback to heart when you w...

According to Euronews the Brazilian led consortium includes a Portuguese investor, bus owner Humberto Pedrosa as well, so the 49.9% rule probably is respected

Is it also PR wise smart when you present yourself explicitly as a Belgian airline promoting Belgian products and services? For the rest looks indeed like a logical business decision to take within the LH group

I have been through the connector this morning at around 8.15 and it is a major improvement (good job) * very bright area making it more welcome * great view of the apron * much more space in general and also between the different lines where your luggage is checked so staff have more space to do th...

Fyi, sharing this today's Bloomberg interview with SN CEO I came across after reading on de Tijd that EU Ministers of Health will not take concrete measures re Ebola. Our Min of Health Maggie De Block is quoted ‘Het gaat hier eerder om een paniekscrisis’ (this is more about a panic crisis) and SN to...

Yes, On my return flight from Madrid recently, the SN A319 had that, would be great if more had it and also that you could follow the flight trajectory on those screenssn26567 wrote:Are there any airshows on medium- or short-haul aicraft of SN? Never had one...only on long-haul.
