BRU 06/02/2020 2x Ethiopian 77F at Brucargo
When looking out of the office this morning, I see 2 Ethiopian 77F aircraft standing together at the ramp. Is this coincidence or scheduled? Never saw this up until now as far as I remember.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
Off-topic but this looks soooooo familiarI work in a company where exactly the same happens, everything for the Shareholders and the top managers-bonus.
Short term decisions, poor knowledge of the market, low repect for the customers... Quick bucks.
NOT Future-oriented. Will see what happens.

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2020
I guess a rather logical move since the end of Thomas Cook:
- SN with free capacity
- TUI Belgium with too few planes/seats since they were leasing almost daily at SmartLynx, FreeBird, ...
My 2 cents...

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines
BRU really seems the missing city pair (AMS, LHR, CDG, FRA, ...) - a pitty, let's hope the route gets started anytime soon!
That's correct.Doesn't DUB offer the possibility to do the American Border checks before departure? So arriving at SFO as domestic?

Re: Looking back to 2019: one year of flights
Very nice summary, it seems 2019 was a very good aviation year for you André! Worst flight : MRS-CRL on a Ryanair B738. More than 3 hr delay on departure, when the pilot pushed the engines to the maximum and arrived 2 hr 45 min late at destination, saving the airline 180 x 250 = 45,000 euros in EU26...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
But is it something specific? I mean, this can be a lot of things or even worse a combination of a lot of these things: technical problems on aircraft, crew scheduling issues, ATC restrictions, bad maintenance planning, too few aircraft to cover the schedule, ... For sure an escalation on this is ne...

Just out of curiosity: did you choose BRU-FCO-AUH-BKK (2 stop) because of the cheaper fare?

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019
I guess anything is possible, if you put the right amount of money on the table. Sometimes, it just makes sense to have a third party do some modifications. EIN may have some special wishes in terms of integration or whatnot which could make the modification hideously expensive if done by Airbus, b...
