Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

I think it honestly makes no sense to try to compete on the Asian market with just 1 route and not even every day... thats a waste.... certainly makes more sense to expand Africa and hopefully at some point North America... Personally I would have tried to make a deal with Air India that would allo...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

It s not bad.. why 2 transfers? They are flying nonstop to Addis from most of their destinations out of Europe.. even BRU to Addis is direct on some days.. airport in Addis is not fantastic but one flies state of the art aircraft, service on board is excellent.. prices are really really reasonable.....

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

Even if it's never too late in the aviation market, the arrival of PF at BRU indicates that it's a missed opportunity for the LH management, UA and SN. As for EWR early evening flight than for BOS. Probably, in 2019 and beyond, SN should keep flying daily on JFK with it's own metal as JFK is not a ...

Re: BRU Winter 2018-19: news, new routes, airlines

Aeroflot adds one daily flight to Moscow and will fly thrice-daily to Sheremetyevo from Winter 2018-2019. https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/aeroflot/aeroflot-thrice-daily-between-moscow-and-brussels/ Brussels Airlines remains at one daily flight to Domodedovo. A missed opportunity? A few years ago...

Re: BRU Summer 2019: news, new routes, airlines

I am sure that there is a market for early evening NYC Flight out of BRU. We work s lot with NYC and most of our clients visiting take the evening to EWR via ZRH they would be delighted to fly out direct at around 18:00 a 19:00 from BRU. And that flight is excellent for those suffering from jetlag. ...

I agree.. their service is not What it used to be.. on the other hand they connect the world, and that s true. Life in Dubai is not easy, very restricted (if one compares to life in Western Europe) and very expensive, especially if one has a family and children of school age.. I think that in the du...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

SN pays the worst wages of the industry I keep hearing this by the pilot-supporters. Does SN really pay a pilot less than Ryanair? Also could someone explain to me how it's possible that SN pays the lowest wages, operates at one of the cheapest large airports of Europe and yet at a time when fuel i...

Re: Disappointed by Turkish Business product and in general!!!

Thx for this report. But...nothing new for me! I no longer fly TK for a long time, for political reasons, state company of a fascist dictatorship and global absence of services. No after sales service especially! One point : not too bad food ! For me it's over ! Hope you are consistent though and d...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

It is suicidal to strike now at SN. The airline is loss making, its future is at stake. This time next year might be EUROWINGS .. and striking in the middle of a long week end when many people are on vacation? That is cruel, to say the least.

Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018

What I didn't understand, why didn't they take over the ANR - SIR route from PowdAir by flying ANR - ZRH - SIR. Are the pilot's not qualified enough to land at that airport? They would also solve the demand for the ZRH - SIR route. Next to that they would fly 4 airports within 1 - 2 hours from majo...

That would be a Swiss dimestic service. LX Will definitly block that if they consider VLM as competition to their BRU service.
