You're thinking of stand 240 (B40). Stand 233 (B33) is the next to last one on the south side.Stij wrote:Isn't B33 the last one on the north side where the aircraft is parked diagonally?

From a pilot's point of view, I can agree. But not from a controller's point of view: that sentence allows us to send departures over Brussels. If it wasn't there, we couldn't...

Hi, Ok thx for the clear response Wapo84 ;) So I'll guess not .. well doesn't matter anyway because can't make it tonight. But that's one more reason not to show up anymore around Abelag untill the works have finished, in fact not to show up at BRU at all untill ALL works are finsihed because I'm f...

Re: Continuous Descent Operations at Brussels Airport (pics)
Everybody seems to forget the safety. It is a lot safer since every level off requires altitude to be set and confirmed, and mistakes here still happen daily around the world. Don't forget that mode S allows us to see on the radarscreen which level has been selected in the autopilot. So wrong readb...

Re: Are noise complainers "fussy" ?
If you mean, to line-up via W41, that wouldn't solve the problem (on the contrary even, a line-up from W41 takes more time and is longer on 25R than one from B1). Re: Are noise complainers "fussy" ?
I think these would be acceptable levels and because the best runway is always used, also the safest. One issue: is it possible to land on 25R and take-off on 19 without loosing capacity? Cheers, Stij Hi Stij, Unfortunately, you would loose capacity using 25R/19. The problem is that arrivals on 25R...
