spotting at Malpensa or Geneva

Hi, I planning a one day trip to Malpensa or Geneva, with Easyjet. Now I'm looking for the airport with the better possibilities. Possible to spot from the terminal is a +, non-airside or airside. Maybe cafe or restaurants to spot from. Even observationdecks are fine. Since I'm not familiar with bot...

Have any of you guys ever been to Russia? Their standards are much lower to say the least. Russian aircraft don't compare to Western aircraft. If it'll be operated by so called "western airlines" it will have to obtain the JAA certification !! Regional Italian carrier ItAli Airlines place...

Why the fuzz about this demonstration? It shows the very skilled A310 pilots of TAP who can handle all extreme behaviours of their jet and of course the very good design of this "old" bird. It's nice to see an A310 flying like a jetfighter :D Whish I was there. I agree that there must be s...

With the new Sukhoi Superjet, new interest in large Russian cargo planes (of course, the AN124 won't make the bulk in the number of planes they claim to build...), and last but not least, Russian involvment in Airbus (they are getting some shares and possibly a production of A320's over there). The...

Are you sure there were leather seats in the plane ? I flew SkyEurope onlyonce and they had synthetic/plastic covered seats which, if you don't look carefully, look like leather but aren't. But since I flew them only once, maybe they do have aircraft with leather seats, but seems strange to me on a...

Went to Vienna with Skyeurope in June, and back than I could order a delicious cup of Illy capucinno. The prices are not more expensive than other airlines charge you. I paid 2 € for a can of cola (33cl) and did pay 1 euro for a can of cola (15cl) with Brussels Airlines. The airline: Skyeurope is a ...

When I visited the airport in November 2006 the guide said the same thing : flights to Pier A are landing on 25R and flights landing on 25L are going to Pier B. But in practice it's never so ??? (as far I remember) The main runway for landing is 25L for aircrafts to the B pier and also for those to...

Yes it was P-RNAV certification.

P-RNAV is the aircraft and operator approval requirement that is introduced for RNAV procedures in ECAC Terminal Airspace.

Asilum 127bis is still accesible, park your car along the road is allowed. On the 14th wind forecast is favorable for the normal rwy use of landing 25L/25R and t/o 25R. On the other hand, the sun will play presumable a minor role. Perhaps a few sunny spells during forenoon, but soon becoming very c...
