Re: Brussels Airlines' loadfactor

Good to see numbers consistently above AEA average... :)

Next year is going to be exciting for SN:
-transporting more pax than ever?
-RJ-replacement order?
-full LH takeover?
-2 more A330?
-...

Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington ... _incidents

It's a question why the Type Certificate Holder did wait for a disaster to happen before solving the problem...

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Airbus to launch A320 NEO

The CFM56 curretly used on the A320 family is also used on the A340-200 and -300. Would it be an idea to offer the PW1000G and CFM Leap-X there too? Maybe it could revitalise this family... Or will the A350 family make the A340 family complete;ly obsolete? Interesting thought, but I do not see Airb...

@theeruopean First of all, we are an aviation enthusiast and spotter forum, this is just to be fun, if you don't like out speculation/ideas, don't pay attention to us. We do this just for fun, you know... Secondly, I think we all agree SN should first concentrate on making profits before they alter ...

Re: Alternative Brussels Airlines c/s

I like the first one, although I think it will look even nicer with a light blue line between the white and blue on the aft fuselage, like Korongo c/s. For the rest

And I also like the S-tail, but that is the past, not the future.

Re: Just fly for the sake of it

I do however protest the use of language - even if communication is the least important of the three basic skills AVIATE - NAVIGATE - COMMUNICATE - I still insist on correct vocabulary. To fly is to fly. To be flown is to be flown. Ok, maybe you should then look the meaning of 'to fly'. It means so...

Luckily I'm not the only one who misses the point of doing triangular flights in Europe without leaving the airports...

Re: Becoming an airplane technician

I'll give you a hint: EASA Part 66, everything you need to know is in there, free available on the internet. You will find zillions of information on that, find your way through it, a good exercise. If that's too much of an effort, you can forget about a job in aviation, as paperwork is part of the ...
