I've seen it in use on a B747, I think that door 1L and 4L were used than. Slight correction here: the photograph provided by heathrow clearly shows doors 2L and 4L  . I don't think so, because the upper deck door on a 747 opens upwards instead of to the side. Thanks for your feedback. I comf...

The 787 @ 8 abreast provides a 18.5" seat and 20.5" ailse, and at nine abreast a 17" seat and 18' ailse. Standard 747 10 abreast is 17.2" seat and 19.5" ailse, so very close at 9 abreast to the current standard. The problem is peoples are getting fatter and fatter. What was...

That recently was November 1st 2002 :!: On this day the merger between KLM UK and KLM Cityhopper was a fact. Regards, Erwin I do not deny this, but according to AF-KLM, some aircraft were still under KLMC UK, some were under KLMC: See this annual report , page 61. Technically speaking, at March 31s...

At least, I know that G-UKAC and G-UKID are still owned by KLM UK and are leased to Cityjet as EI-DEW and EI-DEX respectively. Some corrections here: In fact, these aircraft were not owned by KLM UK but leased. They were then sub-leased to WX untill the lease date expires. So, it is not impossible ...

The Air France group is rationalising its fleet. I have serious doubt on it... At least, nothing will m...

According to CH-Aviation's aircraft lists, KLM is going to add a fourth ex-Pelita F100. Currently, the aircraft (c/n 11445) is parked at Dinard... It seems CH-Aviation was wrong. According to The Fokker Aircraft Page, this aircraft belongs now to Eastindo PT. and is now registered PK-RGE. Regards S...
