Re: New LCT at Brussels Airport opens 25 October 2009
Dreams, sweet dreams  This means in less then 6 years they have to win at least 14 million passengers  or an increase with 566% to their current pax numbers. People overestimate the potential of low cost. Sure it's a growing market but for CRL to have the same number of pax as BRU these ...

Re: Cargo B financial woes ?
Maybe a better on-time performance could have helpt also. Theire flights got cancelled or reschedulled most of the time as far as I recall. Not a good thing with the perishable cargo they carried I suppose.

I think sending and recieving data at such a massive scale would be quite hard to do. But with the leaps in technologie humans make it should be feesable in a few years time.

Re: Cargo B moves to LGG
Strange I don't see a note on the strict noise regulations in Brussels to which the Flemish government can't do anything and that is at the base of the whole tragedy. Sad that even a Flemish newspaper doesn't notice what is really happening. And one more thing. If I read the article correct LGG woul...

Re: Cargo B moves to LGG
As for France annexing Wallonia: if ever they want it (which I doubt) it will certainly not be for its airports. Northern France has enough underused airports for itself (Lille, Metz-Nancy, Calais-Dunkirk, ...) So that part of your message is utter nonsense, indeed. What do you think France would s...

Re: Cargo B moves to LGG
:? Ok, if it is like this, I think AP will be cutting the number of workers more than they are right now. Leaving only a small cargo opperation in BRU. The only reason why BRU is losing cargo traffic is because the Brussels restrictions on noise. Hey what was there first, the people or the airport. ...

Re: Brucargo: cargo routes, news, Brucargo West, Diabolo.
If this rumor about SV is true, I can only say the management is to blame. Lately the service towards AP customers is spiraling down due to lack of planned worckforce and lack of maintenance on service material. That's the biggest thread to AP wright now. If customers get fed up with it and leave AP...

Maybe they can start flying on schedule from the second week of may onwards, if the plane gets to arrive at BRU by then. Would be the first CargoB a/c to arrive at BRU on time after delivery. Lets hope.

Hi Yeah last year I 'heard' (not going to give more details about that ;) ) him arriving many times, quite late on the evening. Is this flight actually operated by a LH cargo MD-11F or is it operated by World Cargo or other? I've always wondered myself but never actually asked someone. Regards, Yan...

Re: No breakfast on BA flight due to turbulence....
I had it on my flight with BA from MAN to BRU last year, just after take off. so no food service jet. But we only just left the ground and fell back down for a few meters. I dont think any one can keep on standing up during heavy turbulence. So I do agree, for safety it's best they don't serve food/...

I tataly agree with you're comment SN_fan. A take-over only paid by a loan is a realy bad idea.

I don't realy like the sound of that. This means that workers AGAIN have to pay (direct or indirect) for a history of mis management. It's always the samezteven wrote:Today we 'agreed' to reduce 'the cost of flexibility'.
