Re: Air Antwerp in 2020

* a successful business airline from ANR is possible The success of VLM was only possible because of a temporary window of opportunity, lack of competition and their precious slot portfolio at LCY. VLM made some crumbs on ANR-LCY, but the butter came from elsewhere (AMS-LCY, RTM-LCY, MAN-LCY). The ...

Re: Air Antwerp in 2020

No, completely not. It was the period before the Dutch came. I think they took over VLM in 2008 and transformed it inti Cityjet. I'm talking the period before that. It was even not 8 year but even 10 years in a row that they made profit. The management was also very solid with a Belgian CEO The Bel...

Re: Air Antwerp in 2020

VLM was the only one who was very successful at Antwerp with many routes. They made more than 8 years in a row profit. It went wrong as from the moment that foreign investors showed up. Many came after and the same number failed. Not sure what period you're referring to, but it's probably the perio...

For the same reason that EI-EIM passed through BRU previously? Technical modifications by LH Technik?

Re: Brucargo 2019: cargo routes & news

A source states that Atlas Air will no longer operate to BRU. Their last flight would have been on May 14. Ethiopian Cargo is mentioned to take over the traffic.

It's sad to lose another 747 operator, after also Saudia completely disappeared from BRU earlier this year.

Brussels - Kathmandu - Hong Kong - Honolulu - Anchorage - Reykjavik - Brussels

=> Landscapes

But it would be too much of a stretch to do this in just 5 days.

As an example, the Kalitta flights from CVG or BAH always have the same scheduled time of arrival at BRU, Winter or Summer.
