Hi Avro,

you will have a lot of opportunities to see the Air Transat L1011-500 as it will visit Brussels each Monday during July and August as flight 188-189
On Wednesdays we will see their A310-300 and on Fridays the A330-300.

Diverted HLX flights?

Today 2 HLX B737 have visited Brussels.
One arrived from Reus and the other one from Marseille.
Was it their first visit over here?
Were these flights diverted from Cologne to Brussels?
They took off for Cologne at 17:18 and 17:27.

Hi Chris,

I saw the Air Luxor A330 taking off from 25R at 17:00, so you'll have to wait till it's next stop at BRU to spot it.

Thanks for the replies!

I think i saw the Spanish AF taking off yesterday.
It was definitely not the 707/KC-135 of today as i saw this plane taking off at 16:05, this one was grey and the 707 of yesterday wasn't.

B707 at Brussels

Today i saw a B707 taking off from 25R at 20:20.
The main colour of the aircraft was white, but i think it had also some small blue :?: lines.
Who knows more?
Was it a military plane or a cargo? Was it visiting Sabena Technics?

There is an article in De Standaard about this topic here is the link: http://www.standaard.be/nieuws/economie/index.asp?ArticleID=DMF05062003_001&Snel=1 The article says that the A319 lease to Sobelair is only for July and August. This is not very surprising to me as SLR needs extra capacity in...

LH has only a monopoly in the air between BRU and FRA.
There is competition on the route as you can also take a german high speed train called ICE which is connecting Brussels-South railway station with Frankfurt (city and airport) 3 times a day.

Hi meerkat,

the delivery dates to Sabena of the A330's that you're mentionning are correct.

But those planes were not new, in '93 and '94 they were delivered to Air Inter. Which means that it is time for their D-check.

The A330 is back in service, as 3 planes took off bounded for Africa.

Who had allready the opportunity to spot this aircraft? Is it painted in the new colours?

another question:
How long does it take to perform such a D-check?

sn26567 is right: Air Transat is not flying B757 to Brussels, but they are sending a mix of A310-300, A330-200 and A330-300. We will only get to see their L1011-500 on occasional days like June 18. 1 or 2 weeks ago i saw an Air Transat plane leaving 25R and it was way too big to be an A310-300, so t...

I think the problems with the A330 are solved, because 3 Airbuses are expect to land tomorrow morning in BRU from Africa. liebensd, i don't think it was possible that you saw a A330 heading to Brussels. Because at that time they were supposed to be in the air to Africa. I also noticed this: Normally...

The problems with the A330 aren't solved yet.

Today SNBA cancelled flight 463 to Kigali and Nairobi.

Let's hope they can fix it soon, because passangers won't like this.

US Airways plane parked @ SN Technics??

Today 20-3-'03,

i saw a US Airways plane parked at the SN Technics hangars.

Can someone confirm this?
Who has more details or knows what this bird is doing overhere?

I could only see the tail clearly, but i think it was a 767, a 330 would be too large for the plane that i saw.
