Re: TUI fly in 2021

Anybody with a clue as to why OOTMZ and OOTMB operated a flight to Quebec on 23/12? They seem to both have flown back on the same day, so a winter-leasing for Sunwing seems out of the question for this? Flight numbers were JAF9720 and JAF9601 respectively. They both flew from Kyiv to BRU before, an...

Re: Air Belgium in 2021

BRU is far from that and in a bigger scope a regional airport on itself, compared to other major airports. Now many airlines have BRU bound or originating pax transferred to major hub airports. They'd rather serve the Brussels and Belgian market directly from BRU i.s.o. CRL. Which has nothing to do...

Why the "via PRG"?
Maybe they can't take off at ANR with enough fuel for the full trip, but via PRG is quite some extra miles?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021

Are those problems caused by Brussels Airlines, or by the airport? Who decides the amount of check in desks and the procedures at those desks? Who decides entry to lounges?

Why would you need full flat beds for the short distances the Devils fly to?

What about the PW4000 engine versions used on other aircraft, like the B747? Is the design of the PW4000-112 so specific this kind of damage can only occur there?

Re: (Belgian) flight crew commuting to Belgium

Now with this corona crisis we have to fill in a plf form which is not really designed for flight crew. Do you have to fill it in, as you are not a passenger (and it's a PASSENGER locator form)? You cross the border to go to work, that's allowed. But take a proof from your employer that you're work...

What you don't understand is that Alitalia is a necessity for Italy!!! Why? They have Air Dolomiti, Ryanair, Wizz Air and probably many others which operate a host of domestic flights. International flights by the same airlines and all the big European, American, Middle East and Asian airlines. Pre...

After 9/11 (well.. not today) the fear of people to fly was mitigated by implementing the security checks. Useful or not, at least they give a sense of safety and security. After the Coronavirus crisis, we'll probably not only have to put our belt and shoes in a tray, but spit in it as well for a co...

Let's Antwerp focus on what they are good at, the harbor and let the aviation to people who can make something of it.
