Re: Walloon Airports under fire due to bad management
This newspaper is saying nothing : waiting 300 or 600 days is good. It's actually better than in BRU because there nopbody cares and there are 3 millions complains every month and they are never processed. Compare then 600 days to 40 years. Noice regulation in CRL ? WTF are you talking about, it's o...

Re: CHARLEROI's runway extension approved
This sounds a bit strange to me too. A 737 full is not like a 747 cargo full ... And ryanair planes should be quite light as there is a tight limitation on luggage weight. I'm not sure I understand either. It's maybe just like in Liège, to increase security. Not totally necessary, but a lot safer (i...

Re: BRU, CRL, Hainan
I agree with you, the journalist are in big part the cause of the bad feelings we have between regions now. It comes from both sides. Everything becomes a region problems even when it's not. Here 2 airports are competing to get a company. It's fair. If it was FRA against BRU, nobody would ever talk ...

Re: BRU, CRL, Hainan
We have many facts here, that should not lead to any discussion as everybody should agree: - There is no such thing as Belgium in the aviation industry. The so called federal airport is far more Flemish than federal and other airports are clearly controlled by regions. - Belgium is a huge political ...

Re: LGG 31/08/2008 Airborne Express
If you fallow mst-aviation forum, you can know what will be the interesting bird 24h before they land usually. TNT trafic is 95% during the night (they arrive between 23h and 2h and leave before dawn, during week-end most of them are parked in LGG), exept the 2 747's comming from China, and the 2 ot...

Re: Lufthansa targetting Brussels Airlines
But I’m afraid the most delicious parts of the turkey will remain in Germany thus downgrading BRU and SN respectively to a feeder airport and feeder airline for the existing Star Alliance hubs. Exactly ... it's extremely dangerous for BRU. I don’t see any other scenario possible. But has BRU airpor...

Re: Aviapartner strike @ Brussels Airport (and Flightcare too)
yeah well, those companies need BRU as much as BRU need them. there are people to move around and I dont believe they'll leave the market to another company like that ...
But the strikes and the way the all mighty union create them in Belgium is a shame. We look like clowns.

Re: Liège Airport (LGG) latest news
It's always a question of interpretation.
You can say : LGG reached its limit but still was able to provide a good, although not perfect, service or LGG reached its limits and this created many delay ... yeah well ... try to bring 500% capacity in BRU just to see how they do
