Ryanair does not have a "HUB", only a base !.
And don't expect to much from a RYR base, look at chaleroi only having 3 maybe 4 aircraft.

Mixed feelings about AA !, Boeing 767 I didn't like so much but my last flight from LAX to LHR on a 777 was nice. The flight was not full, and I had the middle row to myself, now that is nice !. Don't like the fact you have to pay for beer / wine, catering is just blah blah in economy like most Amer...

Thank you for the comments. Delta can not compete with European competitors like Air France, Lufthansa and BA anymore on transatlantic flights. Most American carriers are lucky there is no European competition on flights from Brussels, and maybe that is why the service and quality standard is so low...

SAN / LAS on Delta and SWA.
Delta Flight BRU - ATL 21.05.2005 I arrived at Brussels airport in the morning and on time so I was the first to check in. Profiling ( ICTS ) was fast and very professional. I was surprised that a passenger behind me could not answer some questions !. I am sure he discovered how a search room looks...

It takes 10 min and more to pass the security checkpoints at peak hours, that is something you would never have seen in the past, but now its a daily event !. Guess it is the price you pay for privatization ?. I could be wrong, maybe its the fact that Securair cant fiend agents anymore, half the cou...

Just my personal observation : It is kinda strange that citizens from a nation that lost two towers are among the most disrespecting people when it comes to airport security !. Especially its own military thinks it stands above a civilian and doesn't have to be searched, keep in mind that also bin L...

Competition ? Who is going to be the franchise taker ?, Restair !. In that case there is no competition, even Pizza Hut is a Restair franchise. Some time ago I was talking to Restair, BIAC and somebody from the new management about taking over / renting the bar @ B33. Resulting into nothing, managem...

The biggest problem at the moment is the fact that all American flights depart from B 33 to B 40. Most Americans fiend that a long hike ! :? , but moving those flights to the C pier is not going to make a big change in walking distance. Is it going to be profitable for Sky shops and Restair to open ...

The word goes around that the new BIAC management has plans for the old C - pier.
It would NOT be used the house low cost airlines, but instate for high risk flights such as British Airways, EL AL and all U.S. airlines.
Who knows more and do you think it is a good investment ?.

So many Africans fly United, don't ask me why ? especially since they arrive on a SN Brussels Airlines flight !. You would think they fly AA, that is SN's code share partner, but they don't !. Also the Asian community seems to prefer United, guess because the big Asian community in and around San Fr...
