Re: RYR at BRU (press conference)

That's complete nonsense of course. They (or a bureau) calculated that 1.000 jobs are created for 1 million pax. Yesterday they repeated that thanks to RYR they offer employment to 6500 people in Belgium...

Re: BRU: Monthly traffic figures 2013

Yes we can be proud that BRU has done such a great job! An astonishing 0,9% growth in passenger numbers, while airports like AMS and FRA will or have recorded a +- 3% growth. Very good news that connecting passengers fell by more than 3%, that the movements have shrunk again (-3%) and also in cargo ...

Re: Report of Dream flight offered by Jetairfly to stakehold

Nice report and great photos. I'll complete the photos with a video from the second flight, taken from seat 6A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVO9Aek5EIo
If I see your photos, I think you were seated at 4A or something?

If it falls under the same regulation as the one I'm aware of, then the pilot should indeed have a CPL licence and the maximum flight time is 1hour.

That would be strange as easyJet doesn't have any aircraft based in Brussels. Flights are operated from the other bases.

According to De Standaard they will reduce contracts of interims and students, i am still trying to find the logic behind this keeping in mind that they are causing delays according to lack of staff... Or are there any other operational problems? http://www.standaard.be/cnt/dmf20130806_00683302 Eve...

Does someone know when ET launched BRU? My memory dates the service back to at least 2006, but when did they actually start?
