Why should HBA leave Brussels? That is about the only long-haul destination they can fly to. And their weekly flight (doubled in summer) makes good business apparently.

The worst flight I had was aboard a Beechcraft from White Plains, NY, to Montreal Mirabel in the 80s. The plane was on time, no problem, but encountered heavy turbulence and storm weather. This smallplane was shaken as a leave and I became sick, the only time in 45 years flying! The worst incident w...

The A380 looks massive indeed. But wasn't that also the first impression of people who saw the B747 for the first time?

Good analysis, LX-LGX.

However, at how many airports will A380s be parked next to each other?

And at those airports, it will always be possible to park an A320 next to an A380!

I think part of the problem with the Chatbox is that anyone can use it without being logged into the Luchtzak site, these weirdos who had been in had just homed in on the site to use the chatbox, they weren't registered members. At least with the original chatbox you had to be a logged on Luchtzak ...

Just out of curiosity, who much is the cost of one hour in a simulator?

Some airlines offer them in their FF programme. At LH Miles & More, it costs 70,000 miles, as much as a trip to the US!
